TIG, great post! I haven't been on here much and haven't seen you for a while, hope all is well!

Ditto. Great post, TIG. But clearly, you don't know anything concrete, like me, so unless we have something more than "opinion" to add, she doesn't want to hear it. But she's neutral! LOL
I don't see how logic is automatically deemed "opinion" and thrown out.
I also still say when someone has that many dogs w/that many health problems, there is something else going on- genetics (esp. w/rescues), food, chemicals (vaccinations, antithelmintics, etc.) and it's not as simple as intact or not. Sure you can say neutering "fixed" the problem, but you can't stay testicles were the problem; SOMETHING caused a problem, and it wasn't a naturally occurring body part! Removing body parts as part of a 'cure' is nearly as asinine as removing entire systems to problems don't develop in those systems. It's akin to burning my house down so it doesn't flood or decapitation to prevent brain tumors.

If you are again speaking of me Jenni in "that" many dogs comment, these are dogs over 4 DECADES in different houses and different states, but go ahead and be your nasty self it was expected, it's your style. You just can't help it, it shows in all that you write.
I do take something back about the "oops" litter. I cannot see any breeder having one but I can see pet people who have two dogs not realizing that crating them if need be in separate rooms may not be as secure as they think. That doesn't make them irresponsible homes.
We have pups with several attorneys, a doctor, a psychologist, 2 with a PhD who works for Homeland Security, an FBI agent, many families, some with higher education and some not, very good pet owners, all of them and very responsible but they have never had 2 intact dogs of the opposite gender together so it would be very unfair to say they should not have a dog if they can't handle that situation.
I can see an accident happening in some cases. I can see an accident happening at a boarding kennel. That I would never consider, trust someone else with my intact in heat bitch? No way.

I've decided that I'm going to be the better person in that I am not going to continue to go back and forth with you any longer. Let someone else do it on the next thread that you get involved in, it's a given that it'll happen.
