I put a SchH3 on a dog that was a game boy and so enjoyed the sport. His hips did not pass for breeding but they did just fine for the work. And what about Erik Sportpark the Bundessieger??? One testicle. We are probably breeding too many shepherds anyway so why not take a worthy dog with a little imperfection for breeding and let him or her live a fulfilled working life! I also have two gorgeous males, SchH3, OFA good hips and elbows, one Czech and one of my own breeding, Polo z Danaru SchH3 and Berro vom Adlerbach, SchH3 who I have never used at stud. Hopefully if a breeder guarantees a breed worthy dog they will make good with another puppy but a dog is far more than just for breeding. Barb

Yes then if you purchased a show puppy ( it will say so on the contract) then by all means mention it to your breeder. He will replace your pup for you. I realize you don't want a replacement but if that is what your contract states that is what you are entitled to. I'm sure you read and signed the contract so you knew what your entitlements were at the time of signing. Not trying to be hard on you at all but what word does the contract say. Pet or show? Schutzhund prospect doesnt count.

Finally, issue has been resolved....breeder gave me two options return the puppy for another one or a full refund or keep the puppy and get another one at a later date of my choice for 1/2 off.

Sounds very fair, good for them!
