Geez Dave.....I hope none....I'm an arachnophobe.

I don't use kibble but I've heard that Costco has a new brand of dog food made by the same company that makes Taste of the Wild.  The brand is Nature's Domain and it's grain free and very similar to one of the TOTW varieties. I know a few people who are using it and are pleased with it.  I believe it's $27.99 for 35 lbs. which seems very reasonable.

Robin,
I am working on this...one of these foods has to sell in bulk. I asked for more of a 'breeder' discount...my next step is to see if we can buy it retail through our business here and cut the costs down. If I can do that, I can order as much as you want, I want and I have several others who want in on this. So I would hope the more we buy...the more we save. I can bring it down to you when I see you as it's ordered. So let me make some calls this week and I'll get back to you on it. I will start with Primitive, TOTW and Fromm.

If you do a distributorship...you end up getting your own food either free or at a very reasonable price once you build up a clientel.

I certainly have plenty of people who would be interested so it'd be great to get the cost down!!!!

Go for it Melinda...
If the Earthborn Primitive is as good as most have pm'd me....then I'm all in!

I'm good for XXX amounts of bags....and our small group would order also.

Gee, thanks for asking ME, Melinda.

I'm in. I emailed a few of these and most, I've found, do not have the greatest customer service. I haven't heard back from most of them, and Canidae's only offer was their breeder program (buy 4 or 5 bags, get one free). I haven't tried Earthborn Holistic yet though. I will hopefully be opening my canine/equine massage practice in the next few months and though that would be a good opportunity to talk to people about food, too. A grain-free kibble is a great way to show people a sneak peek of what a better diet does for their dogs, and then, hopefully, I can get them to switch to raw.

Sorry Jen!! Consider yourself included! I agree...I try to get my puppy buyers to do raw and some of them do..but it'd be nice to have an alternative for them. I wean on to Fromm which his made here in WI so for those who live in other states and get pups from me...they can't find Fromm. I think the Earthborn is more universal. Fromm has a similar deal to Candidae but theirs was buy 8 get the 9th free. I also want to try again with TOTW. My dogs do great on that when I do any kibble. How lucky is Caleb! He gets all those free, practice massages! My dogs want in line for that!

I'll let you know what i find out...hopefully in the next day or two.
