60+mph winds blowing in off Lake Michigan. Inside it sounds like the windows are going to blow in at times. Outside it sounds like a train is going by.
About half way through this blizzard with 14 inches of snow on the ground here already and a lot of drifting. Expecting another 10"-12" of snow. Predicting drifts of as much as 8ft. A lot of thunder and lightning where I am and the town sounded the tornado siren a little after 8pm.
Tomorrow night temps are supposed to drop to 0 to -15F. Can't wait.
Dogs, of course, are having a blast when they go outside.
Lots of new tree branches on the ground to play with.
Happy Snowmageddon everyone!

I got two feet on flat areas and four to five foot drifts in my back yard.
I can't wait to see what is out there tomorrow.

The Weather Channel reports a warm 2 degrees F but says it feels like -23F.

Due to the cold temperature and moisture, we have enough ice on the roads to shut most of our city down.
Had to go by space heaters to keep my horses warm enough in the barn.
I know all of you in the east and north are used to snow and cold and probably think what's she gripping about, but us thin blooded folks down here are freezing our A****** off.
Hope everyone stays safe and warm.

Winds are just nasty, even had lightening early this morning. Drifts 3 feet deep on the roads, no plow in sight here.
I'm staying at home where it is warm, not even going to try to make it to work,
-12C here plus wind chill.
