If it were only the rake and snow shovel...
Add in any broom, any other kind of shovel, the roto-tiller, the lawn mower, the wheel barrow, the water hose, the vaccuum, the trash can, the shopping cart at Lowes...I'm sure I'm forgetting several things and don't even get me started about the dryer at Petco! I'm also pretty sure it's going to be a treat when the weather breaks getting him used to my bike so we can train for the AD but am confident we'll work it out.
My point is that this is a trait that most of us have come to expect from a good dog.

Thank you Red Sable, you're exactly right. Yellowrose, lighten up.

desert dog that's a nice looking little devil, I mean puppy.

by GSDguy08 on 30 December 2010 - 03:12
Adding to that, yellowrose I didn't chew you out about the dog food post. I recall sending you a private message, and you were just fine with me responding with what and how I responded to it. I don't see what your goal is in making me look bad publicly. As for this, I was just stating, like Red Sable had said. Nothing against anyone. If you want to see a picture of me controlling numerous dogs at once I can post it too, but it's beside the point....I was just stating. I apologize if it was taken the wrong way.

Raymond, this is one of my favorite picts when Mojo was probably a year and a half, he's always been the first one to offer his help without needing to be asked!

Beetree, is he helping? Or is he a shovel thief?
Cute picture. LOL

omg bee that is exactly what halo does when I try to shovel snow1 we wind up playing and she gets covered with snow! I think it is theri way of saying " oh no we no work we play" And when it is all work I crate my dog so I can get the chores done! While shop vaccing she barks at the vaccumm untill I run the hose over her and she stops and enjoys the vacing and grooming! Please I did not intend for this to start bickering only to expose some of the wild and whacky things our dogs do and to try to understand why!

My Axel has a grudge with my weed eater also. Barron my first GSD hated any shovel in the ground just to piss him off I had a 8 inch tile shovel about a foot and a half long and would drive it into the ground clear up ti the hilt and set amuzed for 20 minutes or so while he would whine, moan, growl and grumble till he got it dug out and carried around.
