Bhall  -- you asked for a commentary .... then  with concearn i relate  my opinion[ and keep in mind , only an opinion]  ..... 1. in simplicity : you have a communication inbalance with your dog [ that would take me a page to converse about ]-  2. you have a control problem with your dog and your dog lacks self control [ again would take a page to elaborate. ] -- So if you cannot out this dog reliably and at ALL times .. then .. one day you may get yourself into deep trouble .. IMO ... without a relaible "OUT"  you will not acheive a reilablle "CALL OFF" either  i.e .. if a dog is going in for a bite , you have the ability to interupt and stop the  attack /bite   before it encounters the bite on someone. Do not take lightly a dog that does not out .. anywhere , anytime and upon  anyone !! THAT's my opinion !! and furthermore .. best you work with someone that will help you rectify that deficet ..and fast !! protection is in essence .. obedience !!
