Mods: Maybe a better way to do this would be to just correct their mistake...Can you EDIT a post? Since this Message Board is mainly in English I think some help should be given to people who's 1st  language isn't English...
If a Language Translator is used then many times words or phrases are changed for what they think it should be in Correct English...Not in Street English...

if Jiri is relying heavily on an online translator, how would he understand what German shepherd dog sent to him unless it was translated into Czech. If an online translator was used, I wonder how crazy it would have sounded to Jeri!

People are so intolerant of other's its almost dangerous!

Had I edited the ad you folks would have complained. All I see is you complaining, either way I was going to get it and the reason is I am a moderator. I could have edited  it, but then the call would have been why did you edit anothers words.

Have a good day. Lets get back to discussing dogs and not moderator actions. If you are so upset pm me.

Regards,
GSD

Well, you're right about that.

I think it was because your first post just said, "Ad deleted."  You didn't say that you'd told the advertiser why and let them know it could be reposted once corrected.

So, people, now you know, an explanation was given/will be given when ads have to be re-worded, and that doesn't have to be announced to the board at large.

I agree whole-heartedly that the poster has to re-write the ad, a Mod cannot edit another's words.  If the advertiser asks for help due to a language issue, then sure, help them understand why it was wrong, but Gsd did right not to simply re-write somebody's ad.

German shepherd dog edit: Lets get our facts straight before making comments regarding moderator actions.

It was not Hans and that remark will be deleted. Do you people have nothing better to comment on than things you can't even bother to read?

GSD
