On topic...  Yes, I have noticed how much nicer it's been here.  Thanks Mods and Oli.

The sad thing is all the real talent has been run off. I remember SV judges, people that were accomplished breeders, people that were excellent trainers, one by one left the board. Too bad the TOS were not enforced years ago while the real knowledge was still here.

 You know what is my problem with this "new" forum? The passion is gone! It is not the truth that I am not  posting because I would boycott the forum. I am not posting because the passion, the fun, the diversity of people, the conflict, .... the discord if I may of legit discussion, sense of freedom, certain positive addiction to it, imaginativeness,  the excitement, the interesting personalities,the avant garde,  all these necessary  ingredients of creativeness ...  are gone.   Instead we have doll, boorish, conformist , controlled, sluggish, fake, worrisome, sheepish, unimaginative, somewhat fearful  forum with milieu of a prison.    That is what happens when you control people. I lived it in political world. Yes,....I know, I know, I know;.... this is not a political world but it is a private site  where the owner can generate  any rules he wants. I will stand here and fight for his right to do so. But the principles are the same, and  with every action comes reaction and consequences. Yes I would like to keep  posting  here. You know I really would. I really loved this site. But I do not feel like it any more. 
No boycott. Just lost interest into formerly interesting, vibrat site full of good and bad  personalities. It was full of life! Just like life! And I love "Life"!   Now it's a herd. And herd sucks.  
I'll watch and put my 2 cents worth now and then.
But I, for one, am disappointed.

On the contrary, Sitasmom, I see a lot of good topics and a lot of interesting and interested posters on the forum.  I guess if someone needs the stimulation of dysfunction,  this forum is not ever going to be  enough for them without all the stupid drama.

Prager:  You and I see it differently.  What you call "passion" I call dysfunction.  I don't miss the name calling, the tacky fights between people, etc..  I see that even now you are less than civil, attacking the people who disagree with you over moderation and moderators by calling them names ("dull, boorish, conformist , controlled, sluggish, fake, worrisome, sheepish, unimaginative, somewhat fearful forum with milieu of a prison").  So because people have a difference of opinion with you over this issue you resort to name calling?   And you wonder why this site needs to be moderated?  I respect and value your dog knowledge and I would hate to see you go, but not if it means having to put up with/be a part of,  the fights, name calling, and boorish,  nasty attitudes that unfortunately became such a big part of this forum.   On this, you and I will have to agree to disagree.

Agree with dog1, sueincc and Sunsilver. Good people will come back sooner or later when it is clear the people who have messed around here and love drama realize they can not do what they have done for a long time. Anyone reading forum for last two years or so will know who these people are who contribute nothing of value and only want to fight or post garbage. Sooner than later, moderators will rarely be noticed because they won't be having to delete so much that is meant to start stuff..........

I agree with Prager. Too much sugar and we.ll all be diabetic  :-)

Boycotting this forum? How ridiculous! You people have no idea how fortunate it is to have a sounding board like this. If it were used properly there would be a wealth of information we could share among ourselves. Unfortunately, many of the posts I read on this forum come from individuals who have no idea what they are talking about and post inane comments--gossip--misinformed information and back biting remarks. It's too bad we don't have more reptuable breeders, who actually have something to say, share their secrets and knowledge of the breed. Then  we would still have the idiots, who know little or nothing about what they are posting, challenging their views.
I have read many posts over the years most of which have nothing or very little to offer and it always seems to be the same group of people.
