Hard to tell from these photos. I looked at the photo that shows her feet you can SEE the toenails. On a LSC you can't see the toenails they are buried in fur.

Do you have a photo of her at a younger age? It looks like she is out of coat which can give you a false impression.

This one is when she was 8 weeks old.
The first two pictures are of her at 5 weeks old.

She looks like a long coat to me, sometimes they dont get the true long hairs all over the body untill they blow the first coat.
She looks like a nice dog, unless you planned on showing her you have nothing to worry about. Even though I heard there will be a class for long coats soon. That will be interesting..

KCzaja, You so funny! You are right though as she is a very pretty girl! There is just something about those coats.... I used to turn up my nose at the coats...until I adopted one. After I lost my soul dog, a West German showline GSD, I was heart broken. He died at 14 years of age and we had been through so much together. I eventually healed enough to where I felt I'd be open to get another dog, but wanted a dog that in no way reminded me of my soul dog, Bruno as I thought it would be much to painful. I figured I may as well adopt as didn't have time for any time consuming dog sport or activity, plus there were so many that needed homes. I ended up adopting a female rescue LC GSD and now I am totally in love with the coats.

There is NOTHING cuter than a LH puppy. Look up the page at Ausder's pup at 5 weeks in the grass. I just want to go out and get another one after looking at her. TOO CUTE.
