MAINLYMAX

If Albert leaves the barn by 8:00 am, he gets
to the house by 12:00 noon. I know than it's
time to stop working and get some lunch.
He practices that ancient Kung Fu art of
economy of movement.

I'am...walkin....yes in deed!...I'm talkin...about you and me!

Here is the Dutch band Golden Earring who did... RADAR LOVE!!!
One of the top 10 all time hits Music bill board.

I meant no offence re: bc's.. all our friends have them, they are all doing agility also... years ago there was a clothing manufacturer called Big Dogs .. they had stores in the Tanger Outlets here in the south and the BigDog actually said we don't need no stinkin leashes but thru the years all the agility clothing people have adapted a number of those sayings and that was one.....

I have many border collie friends, many Papillon friends, many sheltie friends.. I do find it very impressive when a big rangy 77lb GSD comes in 2nd in the same class behind a bc that weighs maybe 35lbs and its only by a second or so!!

Whatever we do with them it should be fun!!

No offense was taken. LOL  Jen and I had a private joke.  I have had Gsds for 14 years now and had lost my oldest girl.  I was looking for a new puppy and decided against a gsd this time.  I told Jen I was going to the dark side and getting a border collie.  Some of my friends have been giving me a hard time about it. LOL!

Also have lots of GSD friends who have gone to the dark side with bc and other breeds! As long as you'rehaving fun!

Liesjers

I do agility w/ mine, not really competitively but I do train them and get some titles for fun.  Nikon did his first trial this past summer (he just turned 2 a few weeks ago) and titled his first time out.

Kenya is also trained and has competed.  She's much more trained and polished than Nikon but he's only had 2 months of training (my club only offers it June-Aug).

That said, my dogs are neither very large nor very angulated.  Kenya is working lines with very little angulation.  She weighs 50lbs.  Nikon is German show lines but far more moderate than most and he didn't even weigh 70lbs when we trained and competed over the summer.

Thanks for your great photos (wow and congrats to all those awards!) and input!
I don't even want to go into various other breeds...
Thanks, Lisjers, yes, I agree, GSD's absolutely CAN do it, I wouldn't worry about a dog with standard size and mild angulation either, I just have seen many American/Canadian very angulated dogs performing and  heard of injuries, especially vertebrae related.
