There is not one.... It took years before we got Clinton Anderson for horse training.
But there was always clinics, and some good magazines.
Most people find some one they really like and stick with them. Clinton said he took the
the best thing that some one did and combined it with others who did something else
really good. But about 80% of what he knows, comes from two men who taught him in
Australia. Keep in mind Clinton broke horses for 15 years, before he competed.
Ruger1......Your mission, should you accept it.........is to find the best speaking and teaching
trainer in the USA. And do a professional.... Start to finish training series designed to rise
the quality and confidence of people who want to start training their dog in dog sport.
If you fail....I will disavow any knowledge of this post. .......Good luck and may God be with You!!
ScHh is a three phase sport.........Tracking......Obediance......Protection
Just kidding
...........Start with Ivan..Balabanov, but don't get hooked on spending alot of money.
The Important thing is does the trainer speak well enough so you can understand him/her.
The websites of most good trainers is the place to start. They will get you started,
but look for some one that will be your Clinton Anderson.

Jim Alloway is good and the best in your neck of the woods, but the problem
is he is limited on time. The Mid Ohio club would be the club I would
choose but understand they are looking for people who have some back ground.
Jim is the director, I don't know if he trains on the side or even if it is a smart idea
to start there until you do some basic foundation work. But absolutely go and watch
if you can, may be you will find someone there that will help you.

Ruger, check into a book or series of dvds called "control unleashed" it may help you get some different ideas and
get started on your own.
Also, I love Ivans tapes.

Ray, was the man.....from him came Pat Parelli, Dan"Buck" Brannaman, Tom Dorrance,
and a whole lot of others. He used to train years ago only about 75 miles from my house. He
passed away last year. Can not think of any one man who knew more about horses. He was a kind soul to.

She sent a trainer 40 feet in the air. He had no idea what he was dealing with.
Nicky is is my biggest baby girl.........I raised from birth.........I do the same with my dogs. It is
part of softening and suppleing them to gain focus......At least thats my story and I stick to it.
This guy can take the toughest horse and in about 2 hours be doing things that would take me weeks.

Long before Cesar Milan the dog whisper,..... Robert Redford made the
movie The Horse Whisper, about Buck Brannaman. Buck learned everything
from Ray Hunt. Buck is my favorite Ray Hunt student and has a big following.
The movie made him famous, but he lives up to all the hype, he is very good.
