Both the newspaper story and what happened to HolyGrail are mind boggling and horrible.

I was looking for more about the case Hodie linked and found something different from last year (not related)

Apparently they had a falling out with the friend who gave them the puppy so they skinned it for a belt:

Can't find out what ended up happening, but what do you want to bet they recieved 1 year in jail (suspended sentence of course)  and can't own a dog for a year?    Seems to be the standard punishment.  No wonder creeps like this have no fear of legal retribution.

Now you know the nine exist and one probably lives right next door to you.

The odds are not in your favor.

This has happened to me, there is a price to be paid.

Let them wonder when and how collection will come.

It will come.

THIS IS JUST THE PLAIN SIMPLE REALITY.

Sad, but without facts one can't know how to act.

In my own case, I truly feel the culprit -- aside from the pathetic individuals who're reduced to such facts -- IS THE NEWS MEDIA

Not just the "news" media, but also recreational and lack of education media. Public naievete' (sp) not truly "ignorance".

"Ignorance" involves having facts yet choosing to ignore them.

The general pulic HAS NO SOURCE OF SOUND FACTS regarding dogs.

Consequently, any time a dog larger than a house cat harms a human in any way, this is big news for the "Automobile Accident Spectating" mentality. It's something awful, we're compelled to look. Looking at something awful spares them from seeing the awful within...

Media runs on money. "Something Awful" demands attention and attention sells advertising...  To produce constructive, meaningful Media containing sound information would "Cook the Golden Egg Laying Goose" -- Erase the AWFUL and ...!!! Erase all the $$$

In my incident, I myself was also at fault. I too was utterly naieve. Now I am not.

I had to consider those I had lost. Would my vengeful behavior bring them back? no. The fact is, it'd give our Media yet another "Awful" to feed the sheep -- vicious police dogs owned by a deranged old arsonist cannibal.... Then what consequences would befall the NEXT DOGS??? OWNERS?? Family? Hell no, I wouldn't give them that.

The best ammends I can make to my beloved kids is for my dogs and their humans to live POSITIVELY IN OUR COMMUNITY, to be of service, to bring value and goodness to those we engage with...  My dog that was shot in the head, his name was "Isaiah's Promise"... I can't ever live up to his name, but I can always try...

Happy mother's day, all --
God Bless

Bobby

You don't understand how serious this is. They killed my dog."
