Omg people give this guy a break. Yes he heard rumors but this would be a place I would come and ask too. This IS a breeder site. Ok so he didnt ask it the way the board thought he should. Dont crucify him for it.  It makes the board read worse than what the guy wrote.

Jim, Why don't you go back to Winnebago and worry about your own life there rather than come to this place with one thing in mind. I addressed what you thought was a suspicious death already. But just in case you don't know how to read correctly I will tell you again.

I have had a death in my kennel just 10 days ago, suspicious NOT!  Rena was a 9 1/2 yr old female that got Pyometra and passed away in fact in my lap. This was after in fact she came home from a visit to our ER Vet and was told she would make it through the night, she passed. Did I leave her in her run all night to die alone? Hell No I brought her inside made her comfortable and stayed with her til she took her last breath. So you can pass around SUSPICIOUS not in the slightest.

Until you walk in my shoes, and spend what I do for my dogs than you have no reason to trash what I have worked so hard to build. Now that you have revealed who you are by you comments I would go out and get a life cause you sure don't have one by the way you conduct yourself on a public forum.

*Bhaugh*  I don't have any problem with someone coming here and asking about my kennel in the slightest, but when they come here for one reason to pass on the rumors and I repeat Rumors than I have a problem. As you being a member here for some time and have seen how rumors can cause problems for the one being looked upon. And when I have addressed what he has put up there and she continues her attack than this is where I get rather pissed. It didn't take long to figure out who this person is due to her comments and knowledge about the death of our Rena as there are not many that know about her death.  So give this member a break! yes until the first bus passes that I can push them under.

Can we extend sympathy here instead of picking????  For crying out loud, the man has lost a dog!

Chuck, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your bitch.

Is this is the same person who posted about looking for a dog after receiving the one w/the testicular issue? His name was also Jim, I think. Pretty common name but the style is familar. He had a different name then. I asked if he really wanted another dog and advice, or if he was just here to trash everyone and accuse all of us of scandals.

Then, he posted more about his bad experience and it became pretty obvious why he was a bit gun shy, and he got some good ideas, I thought. Wanted a black and red.

Anyway, neither here nor there, if you want opinions and want to share anything that isn't all pom poms and flowers, best to do it via PM. Request PMs, send PMs, etc. While I may not endorse a kennel or encourage someone to buy from a certain kennel, it is not right to post ANYTHING you don't know as fact on an international forum. Too many people don't have the brains and critical thinking skills to read that it was a question, and they'll leave the thread assuming it's fact- that Chuck has mysterious deaths routinely at his kennel, and even has recurring accidental breedings w/unregistered males. Maybe he does; I don't know, so I don't say anything publicly.

Common courtesy.

Jim, I wish you luck, I'm sorry you got burned, if you're the same guy, but you are going to be hard pressed to find a breeder wanting to sell you a dog with your track record of "information gathering."

The Poster should do his or her Homework, No one but a fool goes second hand if  he or she was really interested in a Kennel, you go to that Kennel not blab ANYWHERE of what they have heard negative about the Owner or his Dogs that is wrong and the poster does not deserve a break not from me anyway,
There is far too much of this going on, I can tell you straight now that if anyone did the same to me i would be paying them a visit to get it straight to my face no matter where they lived,
But the problem with wanting to do that is getting to know where the poster lives and that is what they hide behind when they write this stuff, So no one will get any slack from me when they post like this, certainly when they have not even contacted the Kennel directly but post negative stuff it is a terrible thing to do, and you are just as bad as the poster for thinking otherwise in my book

I don't have issues with a member here asking to questions in which to learn about a breeder in question, but in fact when they come here to pass on RUMORS they have gathered and in fact have no concrete facts on what they are saying rather pisses me off and in fact this is why this Jim had come here to start with. I'm not looking for sympathy for the loss of our Rena, but thank you Micky.

Here is a little advice to JIM, why don't you go talk to a lawyer and ask him/her about what can happen when you post slanderous information on a public forum. And also remember that your computer carries an IP address which wouldn't be very hard to find you by

So if Jim doesn't stop with his slander about my kennel and dogs he will be getting an rather expencesive letter from my attorney taking him to court for Slander

Chuck,

So sorry about loss of your girl Rena. I know she will be greatly missed, as she was an AWESOME girl. She really touched my life by giving me my first boy Car.

And dont worry about all this stuff being said...just shake it off. Every breeder, even the best go though it. There is always someone out there that we dont see eye to eye with. I know you are a great person. When I lost my boy you sent me a very nice email and really helped me though, And I was a complete stranger to you. Its obvious how much you care for your dogs, and others.

by GermanK9lover on 08 March 2010 - 02:03

Wow sorry Chuck this person decided to do this dont let it bother you....Its not right for people to take upon themselves to
post negatitive things about people if you dont know what your talking about.....The right thing to do is call the kennel or person and talk to them yourselves and not post rude comments on forums ..especially rumors of things you know nothing about....things you dont know that are factual...only my 2 cents...

by shepherdmom on 08 March 2010 - 05:03

Just my 2 cents...

Chuck is a very honest guy and goes out of his way to do right for his dogs and his family and to help others.  It's sad that people waste their time trying to ruin other people's reputations.  Don't you have better things to do with your time, maybe spend some of it with your dogs?

Chuck, very sorry about the loss of Rena, I know she meant the world to you!

Kelly, I remember you speaking very highly of this breeder in a very nice post. Shame that some people come on here with bad intentions and pretend they are "innocently" inquiring about someone, when in fact they are being sneaky and trying to hurt good breeders reputations, but the truth always comes out now, doesn't it?
