Mystere, isn't it true that an HGH-titled dog doesn't need to run the AD?  Thought I'd read that somewhere.

Tess.......Thanks for steering me towards that thread.......some interesting responses there.

Don,

Thanks for the question.  I learned something new today.  I knew dogs over 6 were exempt from the AD, but did not know that HGH-titled dogs were.  They are also exempt from the Bh requirement.   ( At least in the US?)

From the USA website:

".4. Performance Title

Dogs must have at least one performance title (SchH1-3, VPG1-3, IP1-3, or HGH) obtained under a USA-recognized performance judge, and a BH obtained under a WUSV-recognized judge. Dogs with an HGH title are not required to have a BH title.

3.5. Endurance Test

Dogs must have passed an endurance test (AD) under a USA-recognized judge; however, this requirement is waived for dogs with an HGH title and dogs that are six years and older. "

I REPOST + a little extra!
Mystere,
You like to spew bullshit while while hiding behind a FAKE name. Look this name and number up:
AWDF NUMBER 082005 (ON THE PAPERWORK FROM AWDF STUPID!)
USA Reg# A01074 (REGISTERED WITH THE USA STUPID!)
AKC #DN24379103 (ALL STARTS HERE BRAINIAC!)
You should investigate before you open your ignorant mouth!

You like to put up others names, what is yours, coward?

W

Further,
My dog has been shown or trialed in the usa 10 times and has won first and passed every EVENT!  This is MY FIRST SCHUTZHUND DOG THAT I AM DOING IT MYSELF.  Unlike you SELF PROCLAIMED KNOWITALLS, I go to seminars and am open to learning new things and how to IMPROVE MYSELF AND MY DOGS!

And you guys say "oh' Everyone knows who I am" bla bla bull.  I don't.  Others here don't.  All you haters get on here and bash others with your negativity and nastiness while hiding behind your fake names.
Shame on YOU!
What is your name?  Where is YOUR WEBSITE?  What dog gets you up at 6:30 in the morning for training?

No they did not misread it!! Being as stupid and clueless  and moronic as the elitists say I am I was able to understand your meaning! Rest assured they understood also!  Mystere must have her ridin broom in the shop for tune up! After all it soon will be a full moon and she must be able to ride on the wind in the dead of night! Warts and hogs all!

AWDF is not a kennel club.  Neither is USA.  They are sport organizations and will register any dog for a member in good standing.

Their registration of the dog has nothing to do with the dog's breeding or lineage.   If you can't provide paperwork from a kennel club like the AKC, the FCI, the SV, etc then the dog is usually registered as a 'mix'.

by eichenluft on 25 February 2010 - 23:02

yes, I should clarify that IF I have a dog with (Sch) behind it's name - it's already titled - as in Rex Schh1 (schh2), or Brix HGH (Schh1) - as I do not use untitled dogs in my own breeding program, there would be no reason for me (personally) to use this designation to try to "snow" people.

The answer to the question regarding the HGH (herding title) - the AD and BH are not required for a dog that earns the HGH title.  The HGH title is considered a title for breeding.
