Hey Crys,
I'm sure you can get a tracking title with Oakley.  Let me know when you start and I'll be happy to offer some help.  I've met several people form the PDB and they have all been great.  I'm sure your family will be GSD nuts soon enough, don't worry.

Start laying tracts short ones for her now...
Actually   just start feeding her  dried cooked chicken  tiny pieces in the grass out away from house...do it every morning and every evening...lay it in a few piles  just to get her nose use to deep searching...I will fill you in on chat.
I can walk you thru on Pm  on Yahoo... Do you have the Book,,,Method and Theory of Schutzhund.??? Susan Barwig and Hilliard???  maybe I can copy the pages and email them to ya....on tracking...
It is easy   ...actually do not need a book...

Sounds like a wonderful time Jim! Glad you enjoyed yourself.
I have family in that area and would love to be able to meet Hans and his wonderful dogs too. He was very helpful and kind when I needed advice and I always remember those who are willing to help (and he had nothing to gain by offering me advice.)

I'm pretty sure though, if I went for a visit,  I'd be leaving with a puppy. I was just on his website a little while ago and there were a couple of fantastic looking litters

Hi Stacy,
Yes, it's a good thing I'm not in the market for a dog right now or I might have left with one.

Hans, I would love to come out to Arizona and spend a day with you. My son lives in the Scottsdale area so I could kill two birds with one stone.
