The Lawn or mud patch cannot take any more and its laying on top
Izzy looks as if she has been pulled backwards through a hedge, She was Plastered with wet and Mud and so was i this morning trying to clean her off and she would not keep still, I told my brother to empty a bucket of water over the two of us to wash us down
I cannot wait for the rain to stop and dry up a bit and i will even welcome the cold weather which we normally have some time ago last month but it still has not come yet

They are a few weeks late but for me winter is right behind them.
I don't always get pictures, this is from another time,

The sound of their calls is unique and always pleasing to my ears.
They know whats coming.

24 in Whitehouse this morning...Kicking the buckets wouldn't work....
Snowed in Tyler only a bit , big flakes but it quit shortyl..Wind was high and stayed 33* almost all day. MY arms and hands are sore from Ringing a bell for 4 hours off and on..Daughter helped and we had fun..People seem to be in pretty good Christmas moods here.. Bucket filled up by 9 o cloak...My family did the ringing from 8-9 pm and I went into town and took a german with me to check out the crowd getting chocolate , milk , and ICe CREAM....THEY had ice cream on sale for $3:88 and freezing weather doesn't seem to stop people here form eating ICE CREAM

I use a milk jug and some hot water on the bottoms of my metal water bowls and leave the ice for the dogs to chew on.
Works well and I don't bend up the bowls.
They seem to really like crunching on the ice sometimes.
