TO MKING................   I AM PISSED OFF. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY, CALL. OTHERWISE KEEP YOU PEN QUIET
WRITING  GARBAGE
WAITING  FOR AN OWNER TO CALL;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; HOW LONG WOULD YOU LIKE US TO WAIT. WHY DOES NOT THE BREEDER AND TATTOOIST MANNY HAVE THAT INFO?   WAITNG 3 DAYS FOR IT.

THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS IS TO FIND THE OWNER.WE ARE AWAITING TO HEAR FROM THE OWNER. IF THE OWNER IS NOT LOOKING FOR HIS DOG AND MANNY DOES NOT TELL ME WHO THE OWNER IS WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO DO WITH THE DOG. SEND IT TO A POUND AND HAVE IT KILLED? I AM NOT LOOKING TO TAKE THIS DOG AWAY FROM AN OWNER.NO OWNER HAS CLAIMED.

 mking,

Look at the website the OP has posted. You will see she is one and the same....the owner of the outfit. So don't bother calling to complain because she has never had a complaint in 37 years of operation. You would be wasting your breath.

Julie, how and the hell do you know the owner isn't out of town, out of the country, sick, taking time off work to look for his damn dog, driving miles of circles and stapling fliers to every tree? Maybe that is why he can't be contacted. Maybe the dog was lost/stolen months ago, got away from his captor and picked up by the pound in another state. Owner has given up and thinks the dog is dead? Could be 1000 reasons!!! Doesn't mean if they find out the dog was found, he won't be right there to pick him up. Your already judging the owner, as if they know the dog was found and said screw it, I don't care, keep it.

Bottom line, the owner hasn't been contacted yet, how can you expect a response from someone who hasn't been notified?

Another company trying to make quick buck on someone misfortune. Very reassuring. I will def use your business to register my dogs lmao. Let me guess the dog that you will give away (that is not yours) you will register within your company and charge for it the future new owner? hmmm seems like you after money that's all.

One thing to keep in mind, Juliesue has gone out of her way to find the owners of this particular dog who's tattoo is not registered with her company.  She could have just as easily told the person who called "sorry, not in my registry", but she didn't, she is going the extra mile to try and reunite this dog with his owner, and I am grateful to her for this.

I think perhaps she is just a little frustrated at not being able to get this taken care of as quickly as it might have been done, had the dog been registered through her agency.  Perhaps she spoke a bit hastily and out of anger when she threatened to  re-register the dog to the person who found the dog.  After all, that would not be the actions of someone who is in the business of reuniting lost dogs with their owners.

Julie I ask that you be patient a little longer, give the breeder time to contact the owner and straighten this out.

MY THANKS TO SUEINCC AS BEING THE ONLY INTELLIGENT PERSON ON THIS BOARD TO TRULY UNDERSTAND THAT MY INTENTION  TO GO ON THIS BOARD WAS  TO
FIND THE OWNER OF THIS DOG.

THESE SHUTZHUND DOGS ARE CALLED IN FOUND FREQUENTLY THROUGHOUT
THE US. I COULD EASILY JUST SAY " NO INFO SORRY" BUT HONESTLY WANT IF POSSIBLE TO FIND THE OWNER THAT IS WHAT THE TATTOO IS SUPPOSED TO DO.
AND I KNOW THEY ARE USA  TATTOOS AND TRY TO GET ID'D  BUT YOUR ORGANIZATION  AND TRACKING DOES NOT MAKE IT EASY AND IN MOST CASES  IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. FOR ONE EXCUSE OR ANOTHER."SOME FINDERS ARE TRYING TO RESCUE A SEEMINGLY LOST DOG FROM THE STREET, BUT NEED TO FIND AN OWNER RIGHT AWAY, THEY HAVE NO YARD, HAVE THEIR OWN DOG ETC. THAT IS WHY THEY CALL US AS WE ARE 24HR "LIVE" IF THE OWNERS ARE NOT FOUND THRU US, THEY HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO CALL THE ANIMAL CONTROL OR JUST LET IT GO. ( THESE ARE THE HONEST FACTS)

AS A FOOTNOTE, MANNY THE TATTOOER AND BREEDER FINALLY CALLED AND SAID "HE HAS NO RECORD OF THE OWNER"
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO GO FROM HERE??????????????????????

I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE OWNERS, BREEDERS, ORGANIZATIONS OF THIS
BREED.ESPECIALLY, MOST OF THE CALLS COME FROM SHELTERS AND ANIMAL CONTROLS
WHO ARE OVERLOADED RECENTLY WITH "FORCLOSURE" STRAYS AND GIVE THESE
DOGS FEW DAYS TO LIVE. BEING LARGE , RESCUES I CALL HAVE WAITING LISTS., AND MOST ARE EUTHANIZED, SADLY.  A WASTE TO BEAUTIFUL LOVING DOGS
IF THIS IS YOUR BREED AND IT HAS A TATTOO, I ONLY TRIED TO WARN YOU WHAT IS GOING ON. WE HAVE A 99% DOCUMENTED RECOVERY RECORD BECAUSE WE
REALLY CARE, WHEN NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO.
I WENT INTO THIS BUSINESS BECAUSE MY 1ST DOG WAS STOLEN AND I NEVER GOT IT BACK.  I WAS TOLD "IF I FOUND MY DOG,HOW COULD I PROVE IT WAS MINE?
ONLY A TATTOO ID WAS ACEPTABLE AT THAT TIME.  THUS TATOO A PET WAS BORN.  KNOWING THE FEELING OF A LOSS, THIS ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO REUNITE PETS WITH OWNERS TO PREVENT THE TRAGEDY AND LOSS I EXPERIENCED FIRST HAND.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, MY FIRST INTEREST IS IN THE "DOG"  THE OWNER HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CARING FOR THEIR DOG AND IF LOST OR MISSING REPORT IT AND GEUINELY LOOK FOR IT.       INTERNET, ADS, LISTINGS, ETC.
NO MATTER HOW LONG OR HOW FAR. PEOPLE WHO GENUINELY LOOK FOR THIER DOGS CAN FIND THEM,  THIS DOG WAS FOUND OCTOBER 20,09 AND THE FINDERS (THANK GOODNESS NOT A SHELTER)
DID ALL TO '"DO THE RIGHT THING" IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR DOGS THEN PLEASE SPARE THEM HORRORS THAT CAN BEFALL THEM.  IT IS NOT THIER FAULT
IT IS YOURS. HUMANS GAVE THEM LIFE, MADE HI PROFIT- DON'T NOT CARE............
TO THOSE OF YOU WHO PREFER CHIPS, PLEASE UNDERSTAND, THAT THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL SCANNER, MANY POUNDS DON'T EVEN CHECK, BUT THE MOST DISTURBING PROBLEM IS THAT "FINDERS WHO FIND DOGS AND WANT TO KEEP THEM EASILY CAN. UNLIKE A VISIBLE TATTOO, DO YOU WANT TO CARRY A SCANNER WITH YOU IF YOU "SPOT" YOUR LOST DOG? WHO WILL YOU GET TO COMPEL A PERSON TO HAVE THE DOG SCANNED?  POLICE COULDN'T BE BOTHERED AND DON'T CARE. UNLIKE A VISIBLE TATTOO, THE POLICE CAN CALL US AT ANY TIME TO VERIFY OWNERSHIP. IF A PERSON BRINGS IN A DOG TO A VET AS "THEIR PET" FOR PRIVACY REASONS A VET WILL NOT SCAN IT. HONEST FINDERS TRYING TO FIND AN OWNER AND SCAN MIGHT GET NO READINGS AT ALL FOR MANY REASONS. (WRONG SCANNER,MIGRATION ETC.  SO PLEASE DO NOT THINK YOU ARE SAFE A TAG IS BEST BUT IT CAN BE REMOVED. ALSO DON'T PUT YOUR DOGS NAME ON YOUR TAG AS IT MAKES IT EASIER TO KEEP IT..

A simple question,
If no one claims the dog, what happens next?
Without the bold type.

Moons.

Ok Julie, I have tried to be quiet about the whole thing but now I can't. Maybe, you are purposely misrepresenting the case here. I am going to tell it now from my point of view, and I am sure that Molly will agree with me. Both, Molly and I are keeping the email correspondence with you and Schutzhund USA in case that there will be a legal challenge as you are threatening that the dog will be signed over to the finder. I don't know how you think that you have the right to do that.
1) You called our house on November 10 and spoke to my husband about this found dog. Why us? My husband is still listed as a USA-registered tattooer even though he is not anymore (we ended our club affiliation this January and will also end our USA-membership). If you looked on the tattooer list on the USA website, why did you pick us? I would really like to know.
2) Since you could not tell my husband much more than that a male dog was found in the Northeast Section with the tattoo No. AI8CPA4, I decided to call you back when I got home from work. I wanted to be helpful, even though it was clearly not one of my dogs. It was clearly difficult to talk to you because you rant and holler, pretty much in the same fashion as your emails.  I could not get any more information out of you than my husband but I promised that I would post the little info I had on the PDB here and one other board and email you the links to it. (Guys, sorry it is my fault that she is on here yelling at all of us, lol). Now, I have a question: If you pride yourself on locating lost pets, why don't you have more info on this particular dog? Like, where exactly was he found and when? Who is the finder? Contact info? If I was to pay for your services, I would expect all that info available to me when looking for my lost pet.
3) At the same time I posted the information here, I also contacted Molly in her capacity as regional Breed Warden about this case. She promised me to contact Schutzhund USA and kept me informed about her whole exchange with the USA registration department. USA replied promptly next morning on November 11. My question to you now is: How come you could not get a reply out of them? Which email did you use to contact them? And why did you not call them on the phone like you called our house? This should be part of your service you offer.
4) We found the breeder (or we thought we did), I called him, and told him about the dog.I sent you an email with the contact info as well. You talked to him, after ranting that he was not  available immediately (you know people do have a life outside the house - like a job or need to go shopping, etc.).
5) Molly and I both thought that this mess is now behind us. Instead you ranted on here that Manny is not forthcoming with the info you need to locate the owner. So, I emailed Manny again to see what was going on.  Manny replied that he has no record of such a dog with the above tattoo No. and that most likely the digits were misread. So, now obviously the ball is in your court to get more info from the finder, like the correct No. to investigate the matter further.

So Julie, why in all the world are you here ranting how terrible USA, the owners and breeders are? You alienate everybody here with your rantings in colored bold caps which means intense yelling on the internet.
I am sure that you have a dog's best interest in mind, but you really need to change your tone. It is easier to catch flies with honey you know. It is also obvious that you wish to push people into your services but I personally think that people do not like to be bullied like this. I don't!! I also do not appreciate being called names after I offered my help and did what I could in this matter. So, please refrain from sending me any more emails or pm! If you have lost and found dogs again, please contact the USA office by using their official phone number during normal business hours for their time zone and/or use the correct email address (like we did). And most importantly: Treat people you wish to ask for help and/or recruit with the respect and politeness you would want for yourself as well. That goes a long way!
Have a great Sunday!

Sadly, if one reads the rant above, one realizes, once again, that it REALLY IS NOT about the dog for Julie. It is about promoting her business. I too have ALWAYS found the office staff of USA immediately accessible if I had a lost dog with a tattoo, or, for that matter, had any question they could answer. Julies' claims about contacting them with the myriad of lost, tattooed dogs, does not ring true.

If she really cared about the dog, rather than thinking she was boosting her business by coming here and ranting, she would, as Chris notes above, have provided all information here. She would have called USA. The fact that it may be that the tattoo is illegible and a digit or letter incorrectly read demonstrates the point that tattoos are often unreliable.

The fact that she wants to make idiotic claims about shelters not scanning, cops not willing to carry a scanner etc., again demonstrates a complete lack of understanding, or a deliberate attempt to fool people.

I don't know of a single shelter in my state, for example, that does not immediately scan dogs received. Vets who insert chips also have scanners. While it is true that there are a few problems with the older scanners not being able to read and provide a number from the chip, almost all indicate a chip is there. Further, newer scanners often read all chip varieties and scanners are becoming much cheaper, and much smaller so they are easy to carry.

Posting the information about where the dog was found, when etc. Julie would do a lot more than your rants here. Your lack of ability to write the language does not help either. Your attitude here is exactly that of the complaints I have received in years past when people called you to ask for help. Just because you say you are so successful doesn't make it true. There are many things that the people who have the dog can do to see that the dog has every chance of being reunited with its' rightful owner. I am not convinced you have, in good faith, advised them of the things they could do to help the dog. After all, if they are "falling in love with the dog", then if they really have done all they can after a time period, then yes, they can let the shelters in the area know as well (with a photo) that they have the dog and keep the dog until and unless the real owner should show up.

Do the right thing Julie and stop all your rantings here. You will gain more business showing you are ethical than threatening to keep the dog when it is clear not everything that could be done to rehome the dog has been done.
