People that exhibit cruelty to animals, harbor the same cruel "thoughts" towards humans.......
Disgusting.........

That is horrible! There really is something wrong with someone that will do that to an animal. That is not hunting, not sport just cruel. I hope Karma is a bitch.

These people are lucky I dont know who they are! But what goes around comes around! Great that the cat is still alive...sadly many animals dont make it past the cruelty of people.

Moons is right this is terrible but hardly worst case:
Several years ago here in North East Indiana a family had been gone this time of year for the day when they left they put there 2 GSD,s out side in a large fenced back yard up against a woods when they came home that evening they found both dogs had been shot with arrows (and not target points) 1 was dead one had to be taken to the emergencey vet in Fort Wayne and was euthenized. The local DNR and County Sheriff was involved the findings were that in side the woods they found sign,s of a tree stand and from where the blood was found in the back yard near the rear fence and after talking to neighbors who said they had heard the dogs barking earlier in the day they concluded that some one was probably hunting and the dogs were barking so they got shot. They never did find the hunter responsible but the farmer who owned the woods had a son that was a avid bow hunter.
If they were mine I probably would end up killing somebody over that. I,m a hunter but that isn,t hunting it,s not sporting it,s not funny and yes if they would do tha to a animal they would do it to a human.

Nasty wound, one tough kitty & a very graphic example of humanity's inhumanity.
Kudos to the rescuer.
Compassion and kindness we all could use more in our lives

Even if an animal is a complete nuisance, or problem, there's no excuse for taking potshots at it. That's just cruel and inhumane, and there's no excuse. If you are going to kill it, kill it outright. Don't cause suffering like this. I can't even imagine how badly this must have hurt, and then to sit and have that thing sticking out in two places...Moving must have been agony. I don't think the person in question really wanted to kill the cat...He certainly didn't have the guts to finish the job.
As for the remark above about doing this to the perpetrator's testes...Well, to do what he did, and then not even bother to finish the job....I believe he might not have a large enough set to hit with an arrow....Maybe a small dart?
Poor cat. May he recover and find a good home.

We have idiots around here that aim for cats with their pick-ups trucks....& just a little over a year ago someone shot a GSD in her kennel....only Satan knows why. That was just down the road from my house. None of my animals stay outside alone. We have bears, bobcats, rutting deer, rabid racoons....but only humans torture for 'fun'. There is no word that describes how low they are.....& yes, beating girl friends or wives comes next, then who knows what other cruelty.....AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH! I get so angry about stuff like this.....poor kitty. Thanks to your friend for caring! jackie harris
