An AD is the only thing a dog can do, without having a Bh first. That's why in some trials the dogs do the AD early in the morning, and the Bh at the field later, or the next day. Still, odd to hear of an import with an AD and show rating, but no Bh.
This whole thing is rather mind-boggling...
What are "haters in bashing mode"? Would that be people who recognize that the story has patches that don't make a whole lot of sense? That's not being a hater (sheeh, talk about delusions of grandeur); that's being a person who is not so gullible. In my experience, the only folks who consider questions to be "bashing" are liars.

And FYI, the definition of Public Notice is a notice given to the public by a government agency or legislative body in a rulemaking or lawmaking proceeding. All this thread is a disgruntled client who does not have the time to follow through with law enforcement but enough time to gripe on a public board. Just my two cents.

One rarely posts, trains and competes with his own dogs, has friends in the sport throughout the US and in Europe, has been doing helper work since his teens (20+ years).
The other posts A LOT, seems to have dog-drama follow her innocent self everywhere, purchased an untitled adult dog from Germany (but thinks she can title him next month), and, just in general, seems a bit unstable (mentally). (Sorry, windy)
When I read wlpool's post I knew something was not adding up, so I talked with Jeff Rentz on the phone to get his side of the story. I doubt he will come on here to share his version, as he seems not to be into the whole 'drama and gossip' thing. But, I will say that his version is drastically different from wlpools, and, quite frankly, I feel sorry him and Jenny that they ever took Hanz in. I guess trainers need to do a background check on their clients as much as clients do on their trainers because, at least in this case, a troublesome outcome could have been predicted based upon the clients history.
The Rentz's are a family of dog-lovers and they have commited their livelihood to breeding, boarding and training. I have known them (through the sport) for 6 or 7 years and have never seen either of them demonstrate the attitudes or actions that wlpool alledges. Jeff is a gracious loser and a humble winner, when it comes to the dogs.
What a shame. Please don't allow one persons drama-hyper post(s), which made no sense much of the time, to tarnish a good persons name.

I personally think, you should be happy that your dog is alive, healthy and has all 4 legs on him. There are so many people who have a sincere love of this breed and would have helped you had you asked.

I do not need to see the dog to do an assessment..1 dog is confused now and has been suffled from Germany?Belgium? whereever to one show here, back home .in Texas and then cross country to a new face ,new environment and now back accross usa.....2.Dog is not Sch material 3. take dog to local club 4. You proceed to work with dog for bh..a very easy proceedure to put even on a showline...3. work with Hanz until your trainers in the new club may be able to get to the schutz 1 title...5. dog needs stability and dog needs to know you are Alfa..6. dog has already determined you do not want to be its Alfa in work..7. love your dog and buy a workingline dog that may have more potential. If this dog was a real schutz candidate it would only take Mr. Trainer in NC only 3 weeks to get to the bh. I know from experience and can name you one man in Florida who took 6 dogs he met one evening, and put titles on each dogs in 3=5 weeks. If a german shepherd is not a quick learner and has the ability to work immediately and naturally , I want no part of it...outside of a couple of weeks to bond to new place a german shepherd in the hands of a good competion man would be titled immediatley, especially if your are paying them. Any good man would want to prove he can .Especially if this dog already has an AD and has been in the public and on a trial field.
Hope this helps you make that decision to just let the trainers near you guide you...Unless of course you do go leave Hans at Dave Kroyers, which is where I would and did tell you to do in the first place. He knows you and you have dealt with him before.. He also has some trainers working with him , one of which I also know in Deerpark or close,,and you could consult with them...
Thanks for the reply
