What is a" daily training fee?"    you have  membership     then  a working fee which is by the month or by the quarter especially if membership fees are not real high....one single member...now a family or more than one dog would make membership fee higher.

Never heard of a   daily fee???    Is this an  aflliated USA club or a non  Affliated club..???

Extra charges should be written out in club rules so everyone pays same ratio.....1 dog   2 dogs  3 dogs   single person
family ?          some clubs charge high membership and no training fee...unless you add a few dogs into the picture.

Non Members is another whole ball game., and I assume you are speaking member fees?

I do not suppose it will apply to you Guys over there or possibly be interested in it, But we pay about $80 a year to belong to a Club with this i can go and train with any Schutzund Club affiliated to the VVDH, about 48 clubs in Belgium
Training fees there are none, people get help from the most experinced Dog Handlers and they charge nothing for the help
I am lucky for i have among two of the best in Belgium to put me right when i do something wrong
Rik,  we can only train outdoors all year round, in the winter we train by flood lights, and no weather stops training unless the snow is so thick on the field it is not right for the dogs,
No amount of rain has ever stopped me working, thunderstorms or not if i go which i do regardless of the weather if it is safe to travel that is  i work the dogs i have an hours drive each way to the clubs so not too bad
Temps of 8 to 16 degs below Centigrade never stops the Guys working in the evenings from 7oclock up to 10.30

Hey Rik -- "Mark" I am not - no Mark at our club.....I am, however, the only woman at the club....I sent you a pm -

Didn't mean to shame you - I know you are new at schutzhund - We don't usually train in the rain.... I am however getting ready for a trial and want my dog prepared - even for rain.

See you tonight.

Happyday

I have been, and am, a member in several clubs.  All have an annual dues of amounts varying from $100- 500 a year.   Most charge a bit extra for an additional dog that will be worked regularly.     We also train in rain, snow, whatever, because the trial could end up being in any kind of weather, at the rate things are going, now.

In the PNW, we must train in the rain, because odds are that the trial will have some rain, no matter what time of year it is.   The "Rain Festival" runs from about October-late May every year.  Normally, June-September is dry, and nice, even occasionally  warm, rarely above 80.  The last two weeks, however, have been sheer hell with temps hittnig 100 and above.  I didn't even think of training the last two weeks.  My dogs and I were enscounced in front of fans, or sitting in the car in the driveway, running the air conditioning.   Cars are about the only place people in this area generally have air conditioning, so our horrible traffic has been worse than usual, too.
