you can not alter the xrays at all, you can get a letter head from the vet with all the information that has been missed , SV will except this too.
thats what i had to do.
i used the texas exray converting service and he was good and fast , plus he will keep your xrays on file if you need to get more copies.

Bea - are you sure the SV will take a letterhead? If so, I am sure I could get that.

yes , i talked to the USA and they said a letter head was fine.
i just sent my xrays out to the sv.
you need to put your dogs  name , reg# tatoo etc, and then also end up putting the information that was missing.

if you are not for sure i would call them and see all that is need to put on the letter.

both times my vet missed information , piss me off.

this is my first dog doing a A stamp.

they said it can take up to 20 weeks to get them back.

i dont like the ofa.

So, I emailed the vet at UF and asked her about the info. She tried to send an email back but it was blank. Maybe they will either fix the CD or give me a letter head. Good to know I can use a letter head. That would be much easier to do I think. Thanks all of you for the great insight and help!

I am very anxious to send these off to Germany and to compare the results with the OFA results.

Ramage,  fixing the cd will not work, the id plate is part of the xray image if it is not there it is not there. the only thing that will transfer to film is the xray image and info included on that original image. My vet forgot the date so I sent a letterhead as well. Get the letter with all the info needed on it and the vet stating it was left off in error but verifying this is the correct dog and he did shoot the film. i was told it is done often and will work.

That is not what the SV said when I talked to them a few weeks ago...from the USA it has to be submitted through gsdca or usa and has to be film.

I just went through this with my vet last week .... all info was ommitted onthe hips film. I called Schutzhund USA on Friday and they told me to have the vet make out a letter on LETTERHEAD from that vet indicating that the info was ommitted and to put ALL the required info on the letterhead and this will suffice.  Regards ..... Greg
