I don't think closing is any better - in fact, while I have nothing against it - unless it is the last of a species, it seems expensive and less environmentally malleable than the good old male-female-offspring route. I guess if one wanted to clone hundreds or thousands of animals in one go - maybe for food production or something - it might make it more reasonable - but other than that - I can't see a purpose for it.
I do think it would be cool to be able to clone body parts though. I would love to have four arms sometimes - or even 6 or 8.... of my brain could handle them all multitasking at once, LOL!

Come to think of it, Luv...I could use a couple of extra arms, too!! LOL
And maybe a few extra fingers...Us mothers never have enough of either.
