Congratulations to those who own African Greys, I believe that they are the worlds best talkers.
In my time I have owned a Galah, a Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, Nanday Conure ( I really love these parrots), Peachfaces, Princess Parrots, Regent Parrots and the beautiful Superb Parrots.
My Galah was by far the best talker, I never knew whether it was the dog barking or him. He would sceam out Kelly (my dogs name), and woof, woof everytime she went anywhere near him he was also very smoochy and devoted to my OH.

I also have a 13 year old yellow & gold Macaw, Carley who was given to me in October. She loves my boyfriend, tolerates me because I make her behave (as much as possible) and give her showers to try & stop her from pucking herself. :o(
She has a FULL vocabulary and has learned many new words since we got her. Very smart girl but she seems to Not say what I try to get her to say and instead has picked other things we say every day, she is even belching like my boyfriend!!!!

english budgie/american budgie pair Enzo and Roxie.
My grey picked up my new GSD puppy Karlo's name within 24 hrs of him hearing it.
They are very intelligent! I use to breed birds, my grey has about 30 different species of parrots making noise in his cage. It can get annoying-especially the Moluccan Cockatoo screaming goodnight to the Sun. Sometimes mimicry is not too funny...
