About 3 years ago, my JRT was diagnosed with a RCL and it was recommended surgery to repair. Long story short- after being told how much the surgery would be, I took him home to dwell on it. The NEXT day (no kidding), my dog was totally sound. No limp, no hop, no hitch. Like I said, it's been 3 years + and he's never been lame again. Needless to say, I never went back to that quack.
The nice thing about Schutzhund is that even if your dog did have an injury such as a RCL, you could still go on to title him in Tracking and OB ... and probably even a PPD (I don't think walls and jumps are involved... not sure)
Great news for you anyway :-)

"i don't know what this is, so can you enlighten me please so that I can research that info. My dog is not lame as seems to be expected with a torn ligament....can you please give me some further info as I'm really confused and don't want my dog going through any unnessesary discomfort, but want him fixed. Thanks!"
Jen63... pano is panosteitis. Do a Google search on Panosteitis.
Best of luck to you, I hope that's what it is, although it is more common among still growing dogs of larger breeds variety. Evidence suggests that older dogs sometimes get it too, although I'd say the majority falls into growing pains dogs.
I wish you best of luck and I hope it is pano, it does go away after a short period.
