I live in Cleburne, Texas. The High school was shut down first thing this morning.  The middle school and some others closed around 10:30. There are 4 probable cases here.  I was a little upset because my son was on his way to school when he found out and called me to call the school and  confirm that the high school was closed.  Then I call my daughters school( because she had gone on the bus)and her school was still open.

It will not be too long before we get mass hysteria over this flu problem just like they did with the Chicken flu the Pandemic which was never going to happen, i watched a vet from the ministry talking on TV when i happened to watch the News waiting for a weather forecast afterwards, and he sounded as Informative as a wooden door he hadly knew how to get the right words out, plus the media making things worse, These problems never concern me, it is a part of living, Just get on with your lives and stop worrying about it, What will happen next the Pig industry will take a big hit. and that will be bad, on top of all the upsets in the world today this problem is small fry, That is if we can call it a problem
And I have a nice Pork Fillet for my dinner today, very nice too

"I wonder what they're trying to distract us from."

I'd have to say our rally's, these tea party's on April 15 really drew attention in massive numbers. Massive numbers. We now have 100 co-sponsers for HR1207 ... at this rate we can pass H.R. 1207 this year, and finally audit the Federal Reserve. Ya, they really love that idea.

We had 44 co-sponsers as of 3/25/2009, after the nationwide rally April 15 2009, 56 people signed on.

218 would be the majority. If we could round up another 118 co-sponsers to pass this bill, and we will, we are one step shy of Abolishing the FED. Powerful stuff if you ask me.

With our luck though, Henry Kissinger would prolly be appointed to head the Audit Commission. Darn it.

Here's Ron Paul 4.27.09 on the SWINE Flu ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TB5-Y08qbjo

The WHO (UN) have pushed this threat to a level 5.

I got this link in an email this morning. Good read IMO.

Mercola is a complete quack.  Just google Mercola quack.  The guy sells a lot of supplements, etc.  One claim he makes is that HIV is man made.  Problem is that the virus was detected in stored blood samples from Africa in the 50's, well before recombinant DNA technology existed, so this is impossible.  Please when you read something, consider the source.  Consider his conflict of interest, just as you would anyone else's.

Here's one site to read on Mercola.  The guy is raking it in.  He reminds me of a doc I knew in college and grad school.  He was a "diet doctor" who made a fortune convincing neurotic wealthy women that his specially formulated vitamins and supplements would vastly improve their health.  He would interview the patients, take some tests, and come up with a personalized regime.  It was very very expensive.  What a racket.  He claimed a medical degree form Harvard, when he actually graduated from Tufts, by the way.
