My Barron before he passed had a thing for burried shovels, if you had a shovel in the yard he was fine but if i took it and burried it to the handle and walked away he went nuts he would run around it and bark his head off and finally after he was sure he shell shocked it enough with barking he would bite it on the handle and try to yank it out of the ground if he could not budge it he would dig it out of the ground and drop it and walk away until it got replanted.

That's pretty funny about the shovel. Sometimes these dogs are scary smart. I swear sometimes they know when they make us laugh, then repeat and exaggerate for even bigger laughs.

this weekend my shepherds have decided that along with the water coming out of the hose, the weedeater and the push broom, hoe and pick axe all must die...........I am going to have to keep the dogs locked up while doing yard work from now on. Cannot get anything done with them in the middle of it.

My dog thinks he is the pool lifesaver. Especially if you dive in, he'll freak out and then try to save you. I was going to try to correct this somehow, this year, because we have to lock him in the house when the kids are swimming. He also must keep the pool clean of any floating toys, and will carry whole boogie boards in his mouth while swimming, then carry them out of the pool.
