Leash Correction "reminders" about the "sit" before, during and after the throw, then heel in a circle back to the point you were when you threw, "sit" and release to fetch the item. (Sometimes sit, circle again) I often swing my arm with the fetch item back and forth, faking a throw, making sure the dog sits before and during the throw till I release it.

He was doing so well with this, & all of a sudden he got this brainstorm yesterday that HE should have control of the dowel...maybe because he's been such a protector during my recovery he thinks he's in charge now? LOL! He'd better get that idea out of his head! Thanks, we're going out to work a little right now, I'll try it! jh
