Well, see?  I KNEW Mary  D would know!!

I must say, too, that I am aware of Mary
always  doing whatever she must to get dogs she bred back in her hands, after some yahoo has abandoned them.    That is so much more than can be said for a LOT of other breeders.

Good on ya, Mary!!

Kudos to Emily, Linda and Jason, too.  This story is on the way to a happy ending.

My contract states YOU must either return the dog to me or I have to approve the new home.  The guy from the Jan rehome will see me in court per the contract.

Go get 'im, Mary! This story could have had a MUCH different ending if the shelter had decided the dog was aggressive, which happens very often with shelter people who don't understand the GSD temperment.

Way to pull together everyone.

Hopefully the new owner will meet with Mary's approval.  Go get the moron from the Jan rehome!  Good luck nailing his butt.

You guys rock! Against all odds. This is one lucky dog to have so many pull together for him!

Hooray, Emily!  The power of the internet used for good!  It's nice to read something with a happy ending.  I wonder if the person who turned the dog over to the shelter (or lost him and just didn't pick him up) would ever have dreamed that somebody would see that tattoo and locate his breeder lickety-split.  Why in the world wouldn't he just give the dog back if it wasn't working out?
