ShelleyR

Congratulations! WAYnice-moving sable gal! (rare indeed!)

I nearly got a live bite myself on Sunday. If the dog had opened its mouth all the way and I'd not been wearing a lot of clothes it would have been road-trip via ambulance for Shelley, not exactly the tummy-tuck I had in mind... I just got a bruise.
Lucky.

Thanks Wiess blau and SS

SS - yes, I agree that would not be the way I would want one either :) My decoyer lives for decoying and every now and then he gets a little to "cocky" with the dogs and ends up with a live bite. Funny thing is a friend that is looking for a puppy works for AC and was there when it happened, so when he went to the hospital  they had to file a report and it was him who answered the phone :)

Now that's interesting, Ek. Czech dogs have always been portrayed to me as harder, high-drive dogs used for police work, etc (not ideal for the typical family home or inexperienced GSD owners). It's been to the point that I've not previously considered having such lines/dogs here because they didn't sound suitable for everyday normal living. But since you've said all this about your girl and seeing some of her build in your pics here, I feel even better now about my considering using a Czech stud. The way you described your girl is how I'd describe my own full WGR show line male, Aragon. Good dog with nice ball drive & all, but very sensitive about correction. Takes a while to fully mature mentally as well as physically, too-at 18 mos old he's still puppified in his actions and build-he's not filled out by a long shot yet.

Do you know what a FPr title is? The male I'm speaking of is FPr3, and I've never heard of such.

Nope I have not a clue on that one. :) just guessing French Protection ring 3

Now remember that is just on my lines that I have. I have seen harder Czech and even softer so it really depends on the lines/dog. But yes mine are very good with family and even other dogs. What lines are you going with if you don't mind?

My male (her father) just filled out at three and is thick. Ozzy just turned two and starting to thicken up.It does take some time on them
