Donna, as you said yourself, pups can be a crap shoot. Sure their is the possibility that a pup out of this breeding will produce a dog/bitch that can do schutzhund. i have seen mutts and some off breeds that most people wouldnt give a chance go on to get titles. their owners worked a lot, but if the motivation is there it can be done.
i am getting ready to send my working bitch to be breed to a show male. some people think im crazy also.

another breeder friend of mine told me i wouldnt like the pups because they wouldnt have the drive that a full working litter would have. im ok with that. not all dogs out of any breeding will all grow up to be schutzhund, sar, police, or anything else.
my goal is to improve the conformation/structure that has been lacking in the working line. i will keep a female or two and the stud owner is wanting to keep a male.
some would call it an expierment, i call it planning ahead.
