This is an unconstitutional law .It violates your rights to privacy and circumvents the legal system of the search warrant procedure. It could end up in  the federal court for years.

Wuzzup funny story. Sometimes i feel like im in the same situation as that buyer. I have a dobie and would love to trade her for a gsd lol. At that time I bought her i didn't research as much but I was limited in my situation. But the thing is i can't give her up its my fault not hers. I made a commitment when i bought her and I will continue to stick with it. I don't believe in getting rid of a dog to get another one or throwing it into a shelter. She's going to be 4 in the summer and i'm still dealing :) Plan to get that gsd some day when I finish up all my schooling.

Breeders, defined as anyone who owns more than 3 breeding females and sells their offspring, would be required to:

  • Correct any deficiencies within 7 days or dispose of all intact animals at an animal control facility, a licensed Illinois shelter or have them euthanized by a veterinarian.
So the dogs will be executed or dumped into the hellholes of pounds and shelters to get even with the owners. Nice, eh?

Sample: A sweet little Yorkie has been kept indoors in heated and air-conditioned comfort all her life. The breeder keeps her crated only when she's gone because the dog tries to chew the electrical wiring. The breeder refuses to banish the dog to an outdoor kennel. So animal control kicks her door in, seizes the terrified and bewildered little dog, marches the dog off to the pound, and dumps her in a cold concrete run. The dog shivers miserably for days and suffers heartbreaking grief and anguish over the loss of her home. Finally, she develops kennel cough and is immediately executed because she has a contagious disease.

May God save the dogs from ignorant, well-meaning humaniacs, who do unspeakable harm to dogs because they are too lazy to correct their ignorance. Black Beauty drew attention to the problem a long time ago, and things haven't changed much:

Only ignorance! only ignorance! how can you talk about only ignorance? Don't you know that it is the worst thing in the world, next to wickedness? -- and which does the most mischief heaven only knows. If people can say, "Oh! I did not know, I did not mean any harm," they think it is all right.

Bump. I am in the process of reading the full bill online and I have to say it is extremely invasive.  One of the things the State wants in a "breeder's" records is each dog's "dispostion", dated. How exactly will that be regulated? Is the state going to employ people qualified to make sure a recorded "dispostion" is correct?! What a joke and a disgusting waste of taxpayer dollars!
