Shelley--

Keep us posted.  I, too, would like to help if I can.  Let us know how it goes.

this is such a great thread, people often complain about this list being mean or whatever but regardless of all the head butting and chest pounding at the heart of this list are many 'friends in need' which make this list worth any rough patches.  lots of good people willing to help other good people.  kuddos to all!  next thing is to get shelley set up in a climate more becoming her sensibilities <g>

I cannot recall anyone ever appealing to the people on this baord for help with any legitimate need ever being turned away. Sure, we get a few odd-balls from time to time, but as I have said so many times before: the sheer power of the humanity, good will, spirituality & intellect of this board to turn bad into good for animals and their humans never ceases to amaze me. I'm just praying I live to leave PA on my own two feet, rather than a wheelchair. Women my age break hips, often don't fully recover. Something to think about while I apply ice to various appendages & fashion a sling for this shoulder waiting to see if the double dose of Aleve upsets my tummy. :-O I can't believe what a pain in the ass accessing this board is on my Treo, but too sore to do much else today so what the heck? All this sitting around snacking is already making me fat and its only January. By spring I'm gonna be very sorry indeed. LOL SS

Steve1- YOU ARE THE MAN! Thanks for helping my friend out!

Shelley-Tell me about it! Went back to the ortho guy today---he released me back to work until my surgery in March....but Employee health took one look at my Quasimodo style gait & said..."No Way!" So now I'm out of work, & luck, until ; a) my knee heals up enough for me to pass another Employee health eval....or  b) I get the TKP & get cleared to go back after rehab.

This sucks! I've had just about enough of the ice.....hope I have some body parts left by spring! Carl says he's going to Harry's U-pull-it to get my knee prosthetic....any parts you want to add to the shopping list? LOL! jackie harris (too pissed to care about the stupid font anymore!)

Shelley....

I think you should move to North Carolina. There isnt much ice at all here. Plus I would take care of all your dogs. Of course FREE of charge! Especially T.
