I am rather bemused by this OP.  Were you interested in breeding the dog pictured in your post? If not, than I am appalled that you decided to post the dog’s picture from a breeder’s website inviting criticism.  This is not ethical I would have thought.

Would anyone mind if a non-entity decides to post your dog for comments whether it is picture or a training session on YouTube of others to comment especially when it is not a real concern?

Let’s remind ourselves the thread about the “What is this helper doing” posted by someone who has a gripe with the helper and not by the people directly involved in the video.  On the other hand, the thread about “Holy Linebreeding, Batman” seemed a more genuine concern.

What are your thoughts about that?

Take a look at the O T religious paradox thread if you think this is a nasty thing to do you should really be appalled by some of the crap in that post. This is the Internet after all.It  sometimes lack morals and human decency.

poseidon,

I definitely am not interested in breeding and I did not mean to do something unethical.  I was truly interested in opinions and that I would learn something from them.  And I have learned.  I'm not sure about this board sometimes.  a while back 2 dogs from a website were brought up for scrutiny;  "Diego" and some other dog.  Every one had a field day picking them apart because they were very high priced.

No, I would not be happy if someone went on to my site and took a dog and posted her and then picked her apart, but then again, I bet I would learn some things.  If I posted a dog for sale here on the board, I would expect the dog would end up being scrutinized and critisized or complimented, whatever the case may be.

I've seen many dogs critiqued on here.   What is unethical and appalling with what I did?

I have seen pictures posted to praise particular dogs, I've been guilty of that myself! And posting pix to trash a dog happens rather frequently here--no, I don't think it's right. But if you put your dog's picture on the internet, you have made it open to public viewing & then this stuff happens. And worse. So I choose to defend the little dog, I think she looks young, in that awkward stage of developement that some pups have when nothing seems to fit together right. I may be wrong. Does anyone know how old she is? Some working lines develope more slowly than others, so if she is under 2 years of age, give her a break! I've also seen 2 pictures of the same animal, taken minutes apart, 1 that looked like crap, the next, wonderful. It's foolish to judge from 1 picture. If you're interested, go see the little bitch, she might be much different in person! JMHO! jh

I think this will take you to the Ad.   She is 6 years old and has had 4 litters.  Maybe her bloodlines are superior.

Wuzzup, do you really think this was about lacking morals and human decency?????

SHARON, I am a bit confused and siappointed. You say you are not interested in breeding, but www.sundanceshepherds.com is you, and you defintiely are breeding, have been breeding, so you "definitely" and clearly ARE interested in breeding. What's up with that? Post some photos of the untitled bitches you breed and make queries on a thread about them. That might be a real learning experience, too. Sorry, but that "definitely not interested in breeding" line was like flatulence in a crowded elevator.

Not a good brood bitch in any form. I agree with Molly.  Why breed outside of conformation even if work is high..Dont see any indication that this dog has been proven to work.. Not just a title but a resume of what she has done..Titles are not always just Schutz. ones, , as AKC and other worthy work titles would suit if she was a great prospect.

Kinda a sore subject to extract someone elses dog on here to get all of us to point out good or bad.. KLooks are not everything but they sure do  help the total package.   EXCELLENCE HAS ITS OWN REWARDS

Mystere,

this is just hilarious.  I live in an area where all I can do is title in AKC and my bitch ECHO has her CD.

You sure jump to conclusions without giving a person a chance here.  I do breed, I don't hide the fact.  I've talked about my pregnant girl here on this board, and that I am hoping for a prospect puppy out of her....so that I can learn about Schutzhund even though I have to travel a long distance for a club.

Man, you are one tough cookie.

I don't deserve this and wonder what the heck.

I also searched for a year to find Odin , a Schutzhund2 V-1 rated, KKl, to breed to my "titled" (yes its just AKC), dog so that I could better what I'm breeding for and get a dog to work towards a Schutzhund title on my own.
