The Holiday season is here and many of us are looking for unique ways to entertain our Friends.

Many of us will be whipping up egg nog for the holiday season.  But why stick to convention.. be unusual.  Why should egg nog be your singular meat based holiday beverage.  I heard a beer commercial touting 'trout nog" which does appeal to a certain sensibility but I feel there are other possibilities that I feel we should take a moment to explore.

Braunschweiger and  Bailey's Irish cream Would be an interesting multicultural drink that I feel most would remember although you will need a blender with an inductive capacitive starter to properly prepare it

Tanguray and  Anchovies  The best evergreens are fertilized with fish fertilizer.  Now you can know what it taste like to drink your Christmas tree.

Spamslide- like a Mudslide but much lower in carbs due its substitution of meat.

Salmon Adams- beer with cod liver oil an excellent source of antioxidants

Bacon Collins - Like a crunchy lemonade

Pork Julep Substitute pork rinds for the mint leaves and it can feel like the Kentucky derby in your trailer park.

Well You may now understand that why I'm in charge of trophy sponsorship and not the bar for some national events.  You make ONE flaming mixed drink that explodes and everyone gets all pissy.  Anyway sponsor a trophy for the AWDF so that they won't put me in charge of the draw night beverages.  If you can't do it to support the working dog in the US do it to  prevent reverse peristalsis in your sport Friends

Merry Christmans and may you Have an unusual New Year !!!!   Jeff Govednik kindevog@yahoo.com
