Shelley Strohl

by Shelley Strohl on 08 October 2008 - 17:10

Next year I'm just gonna set the woods on fire as nature intended and I hope they all die screaming !!

ROTFLMAO!

I have used Frontline on all my dogs since it came out on the market years ago. Never a problem. I wish I could use it on me, so many ticks I've pulled off myself the last two years. Occasionally I'll still find a tick on a dog after training or walks, but they usually aren't attached well and fall right off without much help.

I have more tick bite's than the dog's, and I will still be scratching them at Christmas time.

The little bastard's !!

There are really only two thing's that control tick's in a given area.

Sudden freeze's and fire.   Since we no longer let the forest burn and the weather has not been cooperating the tick's in my area are a serious problem.

Nature can be brutal.    Man only make's thing's worst thinking he can control it.

I use the permanone spray only out of fear of the (turkey lice) as we call them.  They are the worst of all.

It's bad enough for the animal's, but for human's, everyday we are more and more displaced from the natural world and one day it will be our undueing.

So, I guess my tick bite's are a blessing in a way.   Maybe what doesn't kill us really does make us stronger..

I still hate the little bastard's.....LOL.

And why I love to hear their little scream's !!!

Teri  Bayer make the Kiltix collar last about 5 months great for older dogs.  Used a lot in Oz especially in Queensland where they have the paralisis(sp) tick - kills dogs if not detected and removed.
