Congratulations YR, on acquiring such a spirited and attractive little fireball.  Isn't it great when you are able to get a GSD puppy that is super strong in temperament and spirit?  We need more of this kind of temperament in the breed.   This puppy is a credit to her sire Zindane and just what one would expect out of him based on his producing ability.

Congrats, I have a Zidane son El Loco Guano. You better get in shape because you've got a spitfire if she's anything like Loco. He's almost two years and is everything I wanted and then some. He has not received the level of training to his abilities. I have no doubt with someone else loco would be doing schutzhund or in a police car. But they'll have to cut the leash from my cold dead hand.

Loco at 7 or 8 weeks old.

   Yellowrose,

I'm thinking that your pup is what my pup is going to look like. He is out of my DDR lines. He is just 4 weeks in this pic (he's 5 weeks now). His color is much bolder than the other sables in the litter. He has 4 Solid black siblings also. He is the spunkiest of all the pups. I'm seriously considering keeping him. I've also entertained the possibility of maybe finding a young person, interested in training and competing to title him, and keep him, for their own, as long as they work him, and maybe get a breed back on him after he's titled. Just a thought,,,,anyone else do that kind of thing. It could benefit myself, and and someone interested in getting started.

KitKat:   a lot of breeders do that and it is great if you could find a new and  upcoming youth that would have a mentor and go all the way...

I do have my hands full , full and fuller...SHe is now attacking the garden hose..and it is hers..She actually stayed hooked to it for 20 minutes trying to get it off the hook , while I went in to post the  Attack Worm  on the thread...Came back outside and she had it removed from the hook it had been on....and drug it up the front stairs of my house...I is  hers,,,she thinks..being very vocal as she goes.   Tomorrow , I guess I will have to climb a tree and put the hose up in it...

Tree climbing isnt in our rule book , is It? Wonder how long it will be till she tries that...

I had the privelage this morning of watching some of the Belgian Entry Dogs in the coming WUSV in the USA do a Final trail workout at my training Club.

Among those was Darthez van Dingo's Place' who looked fantasitc in his work

He is of course a son of Zidane Vom Haus Sevens

and if  after looking at this Dog  and seeing him work then those who have any doubts about his Fathers abitily to pass on his Fire and Spirit, and ability  then i do wonder what they are looking at and reading

Marlene is a very lucky lady indeed to be owning this great Dog, and looking at her website a very proud owner, and rightly so

And watch his son Darthez in the USA WUSV , because after the World Championships, Zidane could be in greater demand than i expect he already is now. What would i give for a Pup from him, I do not own enough but i can dream

Steve

Yellowrose: You've only experienced a fraction of what you will in the future. Zidane's pups are very vocal. Mop and brooms drive them crazy. Just wait for the reaction to the vacuum cleaner, folding clothes and pants legs. Not to mention crate training. For the first six months in the crate was pure hell. Loco sounded and acted like a tasmanian devil. What till your pup is 6 to 8 months old and sees someone's pants legs moving. Then takes off and tackles them.

Dont have to wait to six anything...She attacks my legs , shoes and the garden hose is hers..she is vocal , she talks to the hose as she pulls on it for 10- 15 minutes trying to get it off the hook in the tree...yesterday she got it and drug it accross the yard and up the front steps...talking all the time with it in her mouth...then she went to work on the nozzle...she is attached to everything in this place.one way or another..uses her paws for everything....and quicker than a bolt of lightening..I cannot trick her or move fast enought to keep mop sting or broom or hose of stick, or paper or towel , washrag or anything from her...I tried the water hose with a full stream and she was back to it before I could get it to the other side...she is amazing and I am speechless about her intensity...she is only 9 weeks old...
