No, it really doesn't considering who the breeder is.  I am disappointed because I thought I might have been able to convince him that what he had done (sending 2 new puppies) was wrong and convince Greg to not put the dogs down but to take the dogs to Spay Oklahoma and check them in, I would have paid the nominal fee for the spay/neuter and then find them homes but he didn't see anything wrong with it.  I suspect that the only wrong he would see would be missing out on the $$$$'s in his pocket!

VERY TRUE!  The "no matter how many bibles they tote." makes it all too funny.  I grew up a preachers kid and there are specific scriptures that say how a person should tend their animals......funny how this breeder who puts on the appearance of being a Bible toting Christian chooses to ignore that part of the Bible!!

Not knowing Greg, I would suspect the thinking was - $1500 for each of his dogs =  $1500 for the cost of each puppy...  Very sad :(

I don't understand why he wouldn't just let "scott"  take the dogs for a while to socialize, etc. and let them be placed.  Why would you kill something that someone is willing to take.

That is what I figured too.  The $1,500 is probably the purchase price of the 2 new puppies.  He was even offered $500 for them, you think he would just take it!  Euth. costs about $125 or so.

Vickie just remember the bad things people do usually will and do come back to bit them in the behind. Maybe not today or tomorrow but it will happen.

Vickie -- can you send me the name of this guy?  I know I dont have GSDs now, but I do in the future...and some of the guys in my club have gone down that way to get shepherds before...and I want to be able to warn them off.

More often then not, when somebody comes at me with the bible talking I run, don't walk.  Some of the cruelest people I know are bible thumpers.
