I know of someone that had a Corgi and she got her head stuck in a potato chip bag and suffocated, so now I rip mine before throwing them away.

I also had a shepherd that got a peice of bone wedged in the roof of his mouth,  I had to pop it out with a screwdriver,  he was very uncomfortable, but allowed me to do it.  I have no idea how long he was like that.  He had a big knuckle bone and must have gotten a peice off of it.

After reading this article I went outside to pick up and dispose of my puppy's Pimple Ball but it does have a hole at both ends, so I guess that makes it OK.

My Dogs never have any toys in there kennels unsupervised,

They only get them in the Garden or after training, then i take them away For me its never worth the risk

Just recently a 10 month old pup belonging to a girl had to have an operation to remove a lump of rubber but the Dog went down hill before they realised what had gone wrong

These balls with the vacuum thing can happen when you are watching your dog, this is just an advisory that if you have these balls or something to put a second hole in it.  Even if you are playing with your dog, and this happens it's gonna hurt even IF you are able to get it off!
