GSD24,
It has been mentioned there is an ad's section and a list of kennel's and breeder's on the database. Your better off knowing what you want and doing your own homework as opposed to opening up a flood by asking them to come to you.
After you find what your interested in then you might ask for feedback or reference's.
Be a smart shopper.
Georgia and Oklahoma, how does that work?
Good luck.
Brent.

Have you ever went to a website or called someone and they said "oh by the way I am a crook" or "my dogs are nice looking but when you get the dog do not ever call me again". I would like to not make the same mistake as others if it could be avoided.
That kind of thing is the reason I am here. I have researched throught the places you mentioned and other places as well. I am getting some good feed back.
Thank you for your concerns.

Gsd24:
A few weeks ago Fiona at Amulree Kennels in Belgium told me about a male pup she has. Great pedigree. She mentioned he had nice drives. I imported a pup from her 2 years ago and have a friend who did as well. She is great to work with and has nice show lines that can work. Not sure if he is still available but if you are interested her email address is: vomamulree@skynet.be
She arranged all shipping, so all I had to do was pick the pup up at the airport.
You could no go wrong getting a pup from this kennel.

Zwinger vom Kirschental is about the best I'd even consider. Contact them for a quality GSD pup: www.kirschental.de .

GSD24, I think you are way ahead by doing some homework. I'm looking for my first German bred GSD, although I have been involved with American show lines for several years. I owned, bred and/or finished AKC champions and my best advice to you is do not even consider an American bred dog and this comes from several years of owning/showing/loving them.
I had no idea until I found this site that there were work lines/show lines in European dogs. I thought you just grabbed up a German dog and hit the training field. I have gotten a pretty quick education from reading and searching posts on this board. As there is no way I'm buying a dog from a picture or advertisement, it looks like I'm going to the German Sieger show and see if anything turns up there. While you are looking for a pet/working pup, I'm looking for something already x-rayed and exhibiting good show potential and working ability.
I checked on importing a pup and while the price of the pups were reasonable, (+/- $1000 US) the price for shipping was close to $1200 U.S., which can get you a pretty nice pup here if you go to the right kennel.
If you are interested in what I've found out so far, PM me.

If you like the Czech dogs I would contact Europsort K9. They have a kennel in Texas and also one in Slovakia. Taunya is very nice to deal with. I have a female whos sire is owned by them. Even though I didnt purchase my female from them. I have talked to her several times and Taunya has been great to deal with. She has always been honest to me. There dogs have the drive to do schutzhund work will settle in and make a nice pet also.
