Some people send their dogs to get titles so they can breed, good plan! Some want to get their dogs ready to title even if not planning on breeding. A working dog is happiest working. I am looking at options to send one of my girls for the OB and tracking training, I will continue at the club on weekends for the protection. I am doing it because she can do the work I think (and as others have commented), but not to be able to breed. And I will be looking for help in those two phases as I do not have time right now and she needs to work.

Wow Hodie,Where were you 4 yrs ago? I really wasnt communicating over the internet back then.Just making calls to numbers people gave me.I contacted a guy by the name Chet Roberts whom was highly recommended. With Boss's given age at that time I would have had to put a BH/AD on him...prior to competing in SchH.The previous owner had paid someone to show him and at the same time do SchH beginnings. From my research the one doing the bitework with Boss was a throw off of another trainer..To try to make a long story short. The previous owner had put thousands into Boss and paid monthly. He was taken and Boss was mishandled.I purchased Boss as a rescue. When the time was right for him I had him tested by a friend.Boss could have easily proceeded with SchH1.He remembered..but was in defensive drive. My friend told me that if I could take him out of this..note bad training.I should proceed with him.Boss could have easily passed with the BH for a new beginning. So I called this Chet Roberts and he gave me the price for putting a BH on Boss. The money wasnt a problem at that time for me.It was that dogs were barking and he complained to me about how they were biting their tails off.I knew then I wouldnt send Boss. Its too late now and I will just do the best by him.
