You attacked that breeder with your comment "there is no reasoning or talking to some people". When infact you dont have a any reason to question this breeder at all. You see something that may be questionable then so be it, but starting crap on the database is wrong, unless you know for sure. You clearly know who I am and could have simply asked me. Who would know better than the actual breeder of the female in question? Unless you are a doctor genetics, I feel sure that this one would have been fine if just simply left alone.
People hurt people on this database, we are all German Shepherd breeders or enthusiast and I think the bashing on the database is a thrill for some. Those are the ones that you need to look out for!
I take it that you are admitting that you were wrong by saying that if I said she was a sable then she must be. The right thing to do here, is to apologize to that breeder.
Reputations stand for themselves and I am sure theirs will, as well as mine!

Jerry,
The breeder you posted. And me as a breeder.

attack?
well...i guess that if anyone-anywhere, sees something they feel may be questionable or incorrect, that they should not say anything about it and just keep it to them selves.
it seems that this is not the proper forum for such inquries or observations- and discusions.
and if that is so, what is this forum for?
gossip, socialites and....??

As I stated before we do so a decent amount of deceit on the internet including this database and while no one likes to have their intergity questioned in this case there seems to be enough of a question about the sable pup to discuss. I personally think it is a good thing that people are willing to question things like this. If this was my litter and the dog does have the brown undercoat as Sherrie as already said then I would try to find a way to ease all doubts on my litter.
Sherrie..
How about taking a pic from the side with someone pushing up the hairs so everyone can see the undercoat? Would this be ok ?

Desert Rangers
Perfectly fine with me, I will contact the new owner to get pics. I will say that I don't feel that anyone should have to defend themselves in this matter.
Jennifer ,
No , I do not expect to ignore things, but I do feel that people should try to go the extra mile to find out more before posting on this site. You know how people can be in this site. (Awful!!!) I believe in helping, not getting some one slammed. I also believe that you have been slammed here, yourself. Im sure you were upset especially if you are innocent. A select few take it too far.

I didn't post any person's name, no link to the ad, nor did I even mention where I saw the ad or even the kennel name.
only after Jerry Hicklen or ZVZW posted did I post the dogs pedigree on this site. we all know ZVZW has had issue's with both you and Mr. King along with a few other people. so hopefully his posts are disregarded by the rest of the board.
my views are not his as I have visited Mr. Kings kennel a few years ago. they truly love their dogs and are passionate about them. thats my opinion of him as a breeder and trainer. he treated his animals well.
I didn't slam anyone, as I didn't list any names. I am not the person that you should be taking issue with.
all I asked was can a black bitch, bred to a blk/tan dog produce a sable pup. I didn't even list where I lived

Pictures of sable in question.

I guess I have produced the darkest sable that anyone has ever seen. This dog is not a black dog!!!
Sherrie
Jennifer,
You must be mistaken I have not had any problems with Jerry.

Uh I'd say the dog in the above picture now definately looks like a sable! First one posted was at a distance and honestly I did really think it was a solid black dog but it's clear it's a very very dark sable.
Does everyone feel better now??
