Scubastrong

obviously I dont know the full details of your case and we have only heard your side.

I have visited Stefanos Kennels, the important thing is all his dogs are in good condition, the kennels are clean and importantly to me the dogs are well cared for. I have met him also at shows here in the UK and in Germany, my dog also grew too tall so what its not the end of the world the dog cant be shown but can compete in other disciplines, he also as ED but again it can be managed and even breeding clear to clear will result in some pups with ED you cant blame the breeder for this if parents are health tested, His hips are perfect 0:0 how many breeders have produced 0:0 dogs in the UK not many these days!

Again he keeps in touch and is interested in the dogs well being. If showing to you is so important then I suggest you find the dog a forever home and purchase a new one and move on. My primary concern is not showing if the dog makes the grade then I do but otherwise I choose a different discipline but firstly my dogs are companions and whatever their faults/problems I work through them when I purchase a pup it is for life, not a disposable commodity.

Tigermouse Thanks for the advice i will look for a physic breeder next time.I am not stupid thats like saying i know what height my kids are going to be when they grow up!!!! if you read the comments again the dog was not bought as a show dog but as a PET.I just thought i would have a look at the show world for a laugh/hobby and see how it all went. But when the breeder knows i have bought it as a pet he should not be trying to encourage me to discard of the dog as it is not fit for thr show ring.Like the saying says "A DOG IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS"Hope you are aware of that saying.
And about changing my attitude i will keep it just the same thanks and TELL THE TRUTH and if that is not good enough for you then tough!!!!Funny how you do not bring up about Fake passports and Fake titles shame that!!!!!Just a thought now.I had no expectations but expect to know the full facts about my dog ie the hernia.I feel that people who do not know many people to ask about a reptuable breeder are entitled to hear the bad things aswell as the good so if that does not please the breeding circuit like you well again tough. If i thought an electrical shop offered a poor service i am entitled to advise others of the circumstances it called advice so people can make choices. And for the advice on buying an adult i would rather raise the dog myself and take the chance of him/her not being upto the breed standard.

No showing is not even remotely interesting to me i have found the majority of people within the show world to be very much up there own ass. My dog is already at a forever home that is why he is where he is with me(contrary to the advice of the breeder).I never said there should be any guarentee as there can be none but all i want is for a breeder to be upfront about what he is selling and if he is not then he/she should expect any criticism that his thrown his/her way as they are not looking out for the welfare of the dog.My dogs intestines could have become entangled and the dog could have died as it happens he leads a full and active life but no thanks to Stefano of haus mailand kennels. This is not about me being bitter because my dog is not for show but an ethical issue on what a decent breeder should tell you!!!If anyone requires any further info on this kennel do not hesitate to ask.

ALL that i say is true dogs were left without food and water. In cramped conditions and dogs were taken away. This was all from the German kennel.

I just wanted to say that I recently purchased a dog from Stefano and I would never hesistate to buy a dog from him. He's very honest and he is always available to help and advise.  Even after selling the dog to me he is constantly checking on how the dog is doing. I had absolutely no problem with the paperwork. . He is a good and honest breeder and I have a beautiful dog that I am proud to own as proof.  If anyone is genuinely interested in purchasing a dog from Stefano and needs to ask me any questions before hand please feel free to pm me.

I am The Owner of Bacchus which I and my other half got from this Kennel. it is interesting to read about the passports!!!!. This is what happened to us, after much hassle and being stupid enough to support this place with the authorities and having the dog put in quarantine for 3 months (and dealing with the terrible owners of the place who refused to let me see the dog for 2 weeks) being treated like a criminal and threatened by the local council, RSPCA, Derfa and the police for having a forged blood sample test certificate and passport i think sums this place up.

I did however receive a refund of £1000, this however did not cover the cost of quarantine and solicitors fees. When i tried to contact the owner i was met with repeated dead ends. I even was sent me an email saying he had moved to Germany and there was no contact number?????????? My last conversation with him he laughed at me. When confronted with what the hell happened he advised me he did not pick up the dog and quote “it just appeared at my gate?" i have since had no contact with him and don’t want any.

Our dog is great and did not deserve any of what happened.
