Thank God, I don't have to put up with this! Star's in heat right now (her first) and I think they're both losing a little weight, because the little minx is running my boy ragged!

Mind you, I don't hear him complaining. Nope, not a murmur...   And neither of them os off their food.

Anyone find their bitches get into more mischief (the DESTRUCTIVE kind) when in season?

The score so far is 2 bars soap, a paperback book, some mail, two photographs, the wire from my old Palm Pilot cradle, and the small GSD-head mat just inside the front door! I was particularly angry about the mat, which I'd had for 20 years; and the photos. The head on the mat looked just like my first GSD, so it had sentimental value. The photos had been given to me by dad's youngest sister, and showed my dad behind the wheel of his Model A Ford in the early 1930's. Fortunately, she has the negs, so I can get replacements from her, but boy, was I MAD!

(Okay, I was sick the other week, and wasn't watching her as closely as usual. Next time I'm under the weather, and needing a daytime nap, I'm obviously going to crate the little demoness!)

Things do seem calmer today and she's being less of a slut puppy.  It's day 16, so for her, she should be on her way out, at least I hope.

Well, I wouldn't say that being neutered curbs that desire.  I had a very "horny" neutered mixed breed who knew exactly what to do and tied with my bitch that was is in season at the time.  You could imagine my surprise!
