Both! But emphasize working ability in both lines. A pretty shepherd without drive, sound body and clear head isn't worth it's weight in gravel. my top -Show- Female: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/390925.html my top -Working- Female: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/499359.html

Find a few of good breeders in your area. Forget working or show just meet the parents and decide from that. I have a LH showline win/win cheaper and beautiful. But meet the parents and decide on them not whether it is working or show. There are a couple of working line GSDs that I see occasionally and if you took all three you would think they were from the same litter. Mine appears to have the highest drive out of the 3 go figure. So you never know. Look at the parents and leave it at that.

I have both. Always will. They all can work. Some work better and some are prettier, but they do the same job.

These line questions mean nothing to me. My dogs are german shepherds. They are family. I doubt any of you would really understand so I wont try to explain what I think a true german shepherd dog should be. what would I know.
