Germany is a large female. Hopefully your guy does not take after her!

Where is the female Germany? She is no longer on Tracy's website.

Did she ever even own the dog?

Sorry. I can't answer those questions. I didn't ask Tracy for a life story, just a nice dog. Jed is not going to be oversize. At 15 months he is pretty much as tall as he is going to be, well within the standard. He will of course fill out a lot over the next year and a half, like his Daddy. He has more his mom's face.

On a nother note. Here is a picture of Wim's V-A party cake. Thomas and Anja Schoder brought a huge German meal to the party, the best schnitzle and pilze gravy I have ever had. I ate a ton of it for a day and a half, only wish I'd hidden more cake upstairs in my room!

Thanks again for all the good wishes, kind words of encouragement. Now its out to do some bonding with my goofy new friend before he digs his way to China in the ex yard.

News Flash.

Germany Bierstadter Hof is indeed in residence at Tracy's home. Apparently she's usually in the house , but blowing her coat (read: "putting on her new dress for the wedding") so bad right now, and with the house immaculate (except for my room ;)  for the party last weekend, Tracy banished her to the kennel while I was there. Not much market for dog hair at a party, even if it IS V-A dog hair. Ha ha ha.

I'm told Germany is looking through her drawers for her passport. After a season off, she's probably packing about now for a trip to the father-land for a date with Zamb. :)

Actually, I owned Jed's great uncle Colorado. Colo won the young dog class at the NW Reg. show in '96, SG5 at the USA SS in Bakersfield. He was lot like Jed, only Jed is better. I sold Colo right after we got the BH. I was disapppointed the new owner never finished titling him, but that's what happens most of the time in this country. Colo was darned good in the work, but Jed is better, and better looking. See any resemblance? I see it in the eyes and expression.
