Uglydog you seem to miss the point - as always.  This is a GSD board and that is what we are here to talk about.  Period.

Policemen,women, leo's, Constables, Officer's are who they are. They are there to protect and serve. They place their life on the line for you and me without question. So, with that stated, who do you call when your introuble? When your neighbours at the door with a baseball bat, or that kid at school has been shot for unjustified reasons. None of you see or feel what they see or feel. Would you jump into a river t o save a kid, a mom a dad, or a grand parent? No not likely! But you can be assured a COP would. So if you feel like bashing a cop then don't call one when your introuble. Like in a car accident, being harrassed and the list goes on. Just walk away when someone has raped your kid, broken into your house. Remember don't call them when you need a Police Statement to cover the damages caused. Just walk on down the road take your losses and bash that Cop the one that's there when you dam well need them. Get a grip, bashing is for kids not grown adults.

This is a German Shepherd Dog board and those threads are really getting old. For every story of police acting unproffesionally, you can 10 stories of them protecting others. I'd like to see the spineless troublemakers that hide behind the anonymity of the internet wear a badge and save lives. Unlikely.

Hey, there are good & bad in every group...including this board, & everyone's entitled to their own opinion...but I personally am very grateful to the LEs that I know & have encountered. Self sacrificing HEROES!!! God bless them!! jo

zafra-I will never call 911.    I carry CCW.  I keep loaded guns in almost every room.  If someone enters my domain they do it at their own risk.  You can rely on 911. I never will.

Cops in most states are trained by the Government & the ADL. Yes the same ADL formed in 1913 to protect a Jewish Pedophile murderer. Here are the states where its mandatory training-see 2nd link-scroll down. They no longer "protect & serve."   Policy has changed. I dont view cops as my friend anymore, sadly.  When things crash, and they will, just look at the dollar breaking all time lows & support , its us vs them.  Sorry.

There are good ones indeed, very brave. There are also thugs in a badge. They need outed, not protected & behavior rationalized-its all too often here-I love some of the responses. Typical thin blue line crap.  The system & policy needs changing. To revert Back to Protecting & Serving.  Not just another opporessive wing of a tyrannical goverment that is out of control. When martial law is declared as it was in New Orleans, guns were confiscated. Blackwater Mercs opened up on citizens & Army Corps of Engineers there to repair the Levees.

Nice story today of a wheelchair bound 56yr old woman TAZED 10 Times, by Police, killing her. But no one wants to discuss it. Just bury our heads
