i told my hubby I peed in the bed so he would'nt get mad at the puppy and put him out...lol..

did he believe that you suddenly started bed wetting?  lol

We live at a lake, so Blitz has access to that. But he hates water above his pasterns, so he prefers his kiddie wading pool or the hose.

Don, I'd like to see a  photo of that too .

Don I just got a visual of that one.  I'm not sure if I lived next door to you I could keep a straight face.

allaboutthedogs- I've been there with having to take one for the team when the dogs have gotten into trouble.  I usually blame it on the kids. lol  I'm not sure he completely buys my story every time but it seems to take the heat off the dogs. lol  Now he has this "rule"  for everything the dogs do that cost him money to either fix or replace he said is another trip he takes to Gander Mountain for himself. lol  Fortunately the older dog is a very good boy, he never does anything to get himself in trouble, now the pup on the other hand is another story but he's coming along very nicely for how young he is still.  They're no different than having kids really, except the kids talk back.

Julie-that is so funny! That is so something I would do.

Agar-what about when he does something wrong? What do you get? My husband and one of friends were talking about their theory of dealing with their wives once. It went along the lines of, "It's better to ask their forgiveness than their permission." Might have been a great strategy if they weren't right in the next room when they were saying it. Since then I just buy what I want, come home with it, bat my eyes at him and say, "Do you forgive me?". They come so very close to being intelligent, don't they?

GSDbestk9:  I am with Rezkat - where is that pool.  It looks great.

We have a dog pool about 15 minutes from my house.  This was taken this afternoon while trying to tire out Molly.

I always loved these two pictures.  Her sprinkler and hose time needs to be supervised.  As she will rip the sprinkler out of the ground!  And then chew the hose in half.

Rezkat:

The pool is in Spring City.  A woman had it installed about 6 years ago and has a standard size pool and an exercise pool with steps on both ends.  They are heated in the winter and were installed inside a pole barn.  It costs $10.00 per swim, so you can let your dogs swim as long as you want.  Spring city is about 30 minutes away - southwest of Jim Hill's place.

Spring City is where Greater Philly has their trials.  Maybe one day after training I'll head over.  My dogs would LUV it.

Yes, it is not far from where they hold their trials.  Sounds fun, Molly would enjoy having more to play in the pool.
