I've got a serious water rat here too. Knew she was when she was totally in the water bowl at 8 weeks old. At least she's stopped that habit. Used to make a big mess. Now she just kills hoses and splashes around in the kiddie pool.
And absolutely loved the dog beach. Took her a little bit to figure out how to navigate the waves. My male likes to swim, but is not as obsessed about water as she is. Does not like the hose, where she is completely psycho about the hose.

Rezkat:
Nice looking dog. Love the one with the hose. Two of mine go nuts to when I bring it out. The other is like your boy - hiding in the background.
I hope I find I beach to take them back to within the next few months. I also hope that I will be a bit more brave a let her go out further in the ocean on her own. Your girl looks like she was having fun.

Boy does that look like fun!!! My 3 year old girl tolerates the water, but my male--he's a water rat!! If I so much as run water in the tub, he jumps in...he tries to stick his head in the kitchen sink if I'm running water in there! One day I had some old towels soaking in the bath tub (trying to get the beach sand out before they went in my new washer) and I heard this huge splash! And then crash! There was Beckett, standing in the tub, towels everywhere! And all my shampoos and knick-knacks in the water!! He had one towel in his mouth, another over his head, and one dripping wet towel on the floor!!! LOL jackie osborne
