Jungle rot & trench foot are grody diseases. But Im glad you laughed

Funk mon, you lost your sense of humor. Life is far too important to be taken seriously (my favorite Oscar Wilde quote)
Brittany has already been scolded. Why pile on when none of us even know what Zambi has?

Funk never loses the sense of humor. Rock on.

funk man, animules and Avorow I didn't received an email from neither of you to meet me up to my vets office for a checkup on Zambi today at 2PM EDT. You 3 failed on that part.
Unfortunately all 3 of you guys are just talk the talk and NOT WALK the WALK. It's funny how I asked my vet if what Zambi has is contagious.. she (my vet) smiled at me and said NO. I also have 3 more witnesses who heard my vet say no. Now feel free to continue to accuse me of contaminating other dogs with fungus and to continue to call me arrogant.
Ok.. this is it.. No longer going to look at this thread.

Brit, all I went by was your very own first post saying your dog had foot fungus. Nobody with any ethics would take their dog to a public store if they thought the dog had some sort of contagious desease. I'm very glad you live across the US as I would not want to be anywhere you would be willing to take potentially contagious dogs.
Next time get your own story straight before posting garbage. and don't talk crap to other people until you get your own story straight.

Um, yeah Brittany, I sent you an email asking you to send me theplane ticket down so I could be there. It was afterall, YUOR invitation but, for some strange reason, you didnt want to send me the plane ticket.

Believe me when I say that I am glad that Zambi is not infectious. Please re-read what I did post, nowhere did I call you arrogant, ignorant or any other damn thing.
As to going to your vet appointment with you, you make me laugh. I failed nothing.
I never offered you medical advice. This thread was started by you in an attempt to bash a product that you found you didn't like/ couldn't work with. Maybe you had other ideas in mind, I long ago gave up trying to understand your motivations.
You became adversarial when I questioned the wisdom of taking a potentially infectious dog out in public. Had you stated in your first post that you had Vet clearance to take her out like that, you would have heard nothing from me.
I have far too much time, money and love tied up in my dogs to allow them acess to animals that might be infectious, but my dogs are not the only ones in the world. The child with a Wal-Mart puppy who goes into Petsmart for the first collar with that treasured animal deserves the same degree of respect that my Bo or your Zambi does. I asked you to consider them.
The ranting and raving that you do on this board, the people that you feel entitled to chastise, the ugliness that you have generated... I think that you might be a very lonely and insecure person, I don't know you, as you rightly pointed out, but there is something that comes across from you that tells me that yours must be the loudest voice in the room.
As a semi-public person representing the GSD, any of us has the duty to this breed to be more, more responsible, more ethical and absolutely more willing to learn. Please do post the diagnosis from your vet, the treatments reccomended. The information might help somebody else, that is the ultimate value of a board like this, to engender new lines of thought. It does not have to be medical advice, you don't even have to have all the answers, just enough that somebody might be able to say, at some point, "oh yes, what about..." Knowledge and information are never wasted.
Best wishes to you and I hope that Zambi is soon better.

Brittany talking about OTHER people talking the talk and not walking the walk? Thats ironic. And before you cry about me not knowing who you are, I remember you from the old germanshepherds.com boards YEARS ago when you first got Jake. And you havent changed a bit. Sorry if this comes off as an attack, one can only keep their mouths shut for so long.
And I can honestly say I really dont care if I thought my dog was contagious or not- I wouldnt take an ill dog unneccesarily out in public. And as for the "wannabe" vet remark....I trust some breeders better than some vets. Wish I had a dollar for for every misdiagnosed dog I've seen. This is not a slur against your vet at all, but rather my way of saying no matter what my vet said, I still wouldn't take the chance.
