Post the pedigree on this pure male. Or can you give his full name?

Yeah I'm lovin' that big blocky head too.  Have you posted his pedigree yet on this site?  Was this the male that was advertised for sale on this site - for sale because new girlfriend was allergic?

I'm still thinking the guy should have kept the dog and got a new girlfriend.  LOL.

So, are you training him?  SchH?  Ring?  Something else?  If he's got good drives it would be a shame to waste all that energy.

YES HE IS THE{ 16 MONTH DDR BLACK SABLE }ADVERTISED HERE IN APRIL. HIS FATHER IS TREU SHAFERLIESEL AND MOTHER IS ANNI SHAFERLIESEL.  HIS NAME IS WYATT VON HENA-C

Still too young and $600 for an untitled male?  Guess I need to raise my males stud fee to 1k then since he's a sch3??  Most titled Sch3 males are normally 600-800, a really top compeition male may be higher.  I just don't see the justification.

Good hips/elbows?  or normal/fastnormal?  Good hips/elbows would refer to OFA which he is too young for.

It will be nice to see him once he's matured, old enough, and titled.  Yes I have titled dogs, thank you.

So other than him being a DDR lined dog  from an american breeder, what does he have to offer?  Treu is a Sch1 male, dam doesn't show any titles, so why would a serious working line person consider using him?

Not to be argumentive here, but just pointing out questions that someone who is looking for a stud male will or at least should ask.

Aside from everything else (because I dont want to get into all that) as far as looks goes he is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen. Nice head. Good DDR representation. Awesome (looking) dog. I am sure that in time he will be titled and be worth a high stud fee. Beautiful boy!

I suppose people will vote with their wallet.  If the people who see the dog decide that they're willing to pay $600 for the stud fee without hip/elbow stats and titles, well it's their money and they got a right to spend it as they see fit.

Me personally, I'm not likely to go for such a deal, but that's just my uneducated opinion.  I'm not trying to bash the dog, and if he's as good as the new owner says he is, then he'll earn his titles soon enough.  But good males are everywhere, with titles and hip/elbow stats.  (Great males, harder to find)

However, I don't see anything "wrong" per se about the guy asking $600 for the stud fee.  He can ASK for whatever price his heart desires.  Heck, if this works I might just pop a picture of my 20 month old untitled, Prelimed only male on the internet with the bargain stud price of $599.  (OK, maybe not)

Ultimately, how can anyone "prove" that their stud is worth his fee?  I wish it were that easy, black and white, but it's not.  If anyone has a mathematical formula to calculate appropriate stud fees for a dog, please let me know!

Very Very good looking dog.

Dont ruin him.

Dont waste his potential to make a quick buck.

If the dog truly CAN work, would be such a waste to not title this dog.

Yvette, I agree with you, people will vote with their pocket book, the value of a thing is pretty subjective and what might be worth 600 to me might not be worth 600 to you, very very subjective.  Also... if someone had a mathmatical formula.... they would be really amazingly rich lol.

Symphoni,

I know there's no math formula, but I'm an engineer (and an alpha geek at that!) and I couldn't resist the snide remark.  My bad!

There's no "right answer" in this situation.  I hope the guy does title the dog and bring out its full potential, but then I'm biased because I own a black sable DDR/Czech dog and I love that "type".

I AGREE WITH MOST OF YOU. HE SHOULD BE TITLED, OR HE DESERVES TO BE TITLED. I HAVE BRED SCH3 STUDS AND BRED GREEN DOGS. THE TITLE DOES NOT MAKE THE DOG A BETTER PRODUCER. MY BEST PRODUCER FOR DRIVES AND POLICE WORK WAS UNTITLED MALE FROM KARTHAGO. TRAINERS OFFERED TO TAKE AND TITLE HIM AND I DID NOT WANT TO PART WITH THE DOG. EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION. THANKS
